Luke and Harry were so friendly and gave great customer service! The drinks were great and the cakes from the bar were fresh and delicious!

Absolute joke. Booked a table nearly 2 hours prior to show. Waited to be shown to table. Waited in queue to order to be told that they couldn’t serve in time despite waiting staff saying they could. Never coming back

I was able to conduct business on my laptop in a great chilled atmosphere, background music sublime, EXCELLENT management staff, met and spoke with the Head Chef; he has a real awesome passion and enthusiasm for his kitchen his knowledge is second to none- having cheffed for Royal Navy at Eton (and for the late Queen Elizabeth)... I cannot wait to come back for dinner here. Really pleased with my choice of venue today. Thank you!

If you do one thing whilst you're in Southsea... go here! The staff are incredible, the food is glorious and there's so much choice for drinks. We were lucky enough to have our wedding reception here and it was the best day our lives. Every detail was thought about, they even bought in special dog friendly wine (yes they are dog friendly too). We are so thankful to the entire team for all they did to go above and beyond to make our brunch and reception truly wonderful!

My friends surprised me by booking out the upstairs area for my 30th birthday. The space was beautiful and private, with our own bar and bartender. Our bartender, Luke, was amazing. He was accommodating, fun, and just great to be around. He asked me what music I liked, made me a playlist on the spot, and it was perfect. I first came here the night it opened and it just keeps getting better as it gets bigger. This time I only stopped by for a couple of drinks while I bored my son with stories of my time in Southsea (try the Bored of Southsea skate shop by the way, just down the road) and of the times we spent in this boozer which was already popular then for offering more variety than the other pubs around. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer this time had to head off to Fratton Park ...

This pub is one of the best ones in Southsea and have been several times. This time the place was heaving with a wedding upstairs and the rugby on. We visited before and after a gig and were served by Mya every time. Mya impressed us with her efficiency, friendliness and willingness to cater for my fussy gin requests. On our return, 2 1/2 hours later she had remembered our round and then, later when the super efficient bouncers and security were enthusiastically trying to get us to leave (the way they attempted to rush us out was our only negative experience), she allowed us to remain at the bar to finish our drinks and pop to the toilets.

So we have been to The Vaults many times over the years and as a Fullers Pub you expect a decent level of service. We booked a table in advance for a family of 4 and checked in with staff when we got there. Our waitress then went off looking for a table and then came back to tell us there weren’t any available and we should find one ourselves if any became free. So we stood there for about 10 minutes with nobody checking up on us before giving up and leaving. The staff and management of this pub are an absolute disgrace and we were so disappointed especially as Fullers pubs usually have a good reputation. Needless to say we won’t be back. Ever.
