I ate the Shepherds Pie, which was very nice, aided by lots of gravy!! Would happily go again.

£23 for a below average roast. Loads of young staff who don’t know what they’re doing. Won’t be going back.

This pub in north London is pretty average. The food is decent and standard for a big pub located near a tube station. However, the quiz nights on Mondays are fantastic.

This beer garden is fantastic! There is plenty of room, including an indoor-outdoor area to escape to. The staff is very friendly and they offer a great selection of beers on tap.

Went here for Brunch, service was ok, there a lot of people with dogs which makes it hard to relax and chat when trying to catch up with others. I had a chicken burger, it was nice the chips were delicious. Maybe I'll try a roast next time.

The setting is lovely and the food good. However, the service is poor; slow and as if its a chore! The food order was wrong and my food didn't arrive until 30mins after everyone else, I asked 3 of the staff and finally after asking again it arrived with avocado (that I didnt order) and without an apology. It's a shame as its the 3rd time we have been, hoping for more and been disappointed by the service.

We really enjoyed our visit at the Woodman , in general it was a very nice experience. Food was good although I was a bit disappointed that the menu online was different from the one I was given on Friday night. The one online looked better and with more choice Staff was very attentive and polite , we felt really looked after Ambient could have been better as the pub was not very busy so it looked a bit empty , it was strange as it was bank holiday too Compared to previous times we ve been there ,(last time was on new year day this year, I found the food a bit less tasty than usual and with no many options on the menu like last time I went. But overall it was great and we enjoyed our night....

We made a booking and were seated. We waited 20 min with no service (no water, no menus). I went up and had to ask for these. We then waited another 15 min and I had to go up again to ask for a server to take our order. We then waited for 45 min with no updates and when my partner went up to ask, the staff got very defensive, claiming it wasn’t their fault for being so busy and that food was taking at least an hour. We had my 6 year old daughter with me who was crying bc she was so hungry. We said if we had known that, we wouldn’t have stayed. We were disappointed with The Woodman which has, in the past, always been so so good. Firstly, we were told that we hadn’t booked an outdoor table despite showing the actual booking which confirmed that we did; the outside table that we were given/dumped on couldn’t have been smaller and wobbled whilst we sat and watched couples we were three being given huge tables for four. Eventually, we took it upon ourselves to move to a bigger table and were seen at our new table very quickly. The lemonade brought to my daughter turned out to be soda water; eventually she was brought a tiny bottle of Fever Tree as they had run out of lemonade ! which she couldn’t drink as it’s not really aimed at 11 ye...
