"After spending an hour in the restaurant, we finally received our starter, which we decided to share. We ordered haggis bonbons, but there were only three tiny balls, and they were gone in about three minutes because we'd been waiting so long. We then waited nearly another 30 minutes for our mains. When they finally arrived, the presentation was impressive; however, the steak was overly salty—so much so that I couldn’t continue eating it halfway through and had to give up. The onion rings were excellent, but the mac and cheese on the side was quite dry. We ordered another round of drinks when our main course arrived. I was having French martinis, but when my drink came, I was told they had run out of an ingredient and substituted it without asking for my approval. If I had known, I would have chosen something else. Since we opted for the market menu, we shared a portion of ice cream for dessert, which was delicious. In total, our bill came to £100, and I don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon. The service was very slow, and while the food looked good, I would advise others to be cautious—the saltiness of the meat left me feeling like I had been drinking the sea."

"Cookiez is an extremely child-friendly restaurant with great prices and delicious food. They offer a wide range of milkshakes, ice cream, and more. The staff go above and beyond for their customers, making it my go-to place for desserts. I highly recommend their oreo, kinder, and ferror rochas milkshakes. I can always rely on Cookiez for the best desserts. Additionally, they have easy parking, which is always a plus."

"Slightly disappointed, Nice enough over all though. Food was good but nothing amazing, which was disappointing after the good reviews I had heard about the place. Portions were a good size, and the family liked the Sunday Roast. The service was very slow, and not the best. Servers never offered us water at the start of the meal, were slow to come back and offer us more drinks throughout the meal, and forgot to bring drinks over that we ordered too. "I went to this restaurant for the first time for dinner and absolutely loved the food. The Peanut butter chicken appetizer was exceptional, and the burger was also delicious. Everyone in my group ordered something different and no one had any complaints about the food. I appreciated the wide variety of options on the menu, making it easy for everyone to find something they liked. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. The service was excellent too, I would give it a 5 out of 5."

"What a fabulous restaurant! The menu was comprehensive, the food was delicious, the service fantastic and the price exceptionally reasonable. We had birthday lunch with my father for his 80th birthday. We ate from the fixed-price lunch menu £20 for two courses, £25 for three) and all four of us cleared our plates of all three courses. It was absolutely delicious, faultlessly cooked from quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The staff could not do enough for us. They made a fuss of my father, printed out a special menu wishing him a happy birthday, and gladly took our cake and produced it with our coffee. It was much appreciated. The toilets were absolutely spotless. We intend to return soon and we very much look forward to it."
