"My wife and I arrived for our 5 pm booking and signed in we were shown to our table and ordered drinks. while waiting for them to arrive we noticed the length of the line for the servery. Our drinks came and we joined the line. It took 40 minutes in the line before we reached the serving hatch. There were no Yorkshire puddings available or vegetarian gravy at this time. some of the available vegetables were not labelled and I had to ask what they were. From entering the restaurant food que to returning to our seats was 40 minutes. this is just no good practice. When I queried this I was told that this was at this time of the year normal. As I have difficulty standing for long periods. I shall not be returning. I have on 3 previous occasions been in and out inside an hour, yesterday took over 2 and a half hours in total Just not the welcoming hospitality that I have previously encountered . So I will say good bye. Yours David Anderson."

This toby is in need of a complete refurb. Its dirty and the toilets are disgusting need complete replacement. Bu must say the staff are excellent

Chids meal need changing my grandson had chicken nuggets came in a bowl then had to que to get veg and mash so his chicken nuggets were cold when he got back to table also meat was very fatty and no mash but no alternative

The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff is incredibly helpful. I had some difficulty getting around, but the girls went out of their way to assist me by carrying my plate and helping me finalize my order.

The waitress was rude, the pub itself was so busy the line for food was ridiculous! Knew we should of left by this point… food was so disappointing i never eaten here before and will never again! Meat was fatty, roast potatoes were soggy covered in oil. Veg was solid as a rock the gravy was extremely lumpy! Vile food

The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were outstanding—very attentive and eager to assist. When we spilled a drink, they quickly cleaned it up and replaced it at no charge, which we really appreciated. The menu offered a good selection, though the portion of meat in the meal seemed a bit small; however, the quality was excellent. The only real drawback was that the roast potatoes were quite dry, both inside and out, which was unfortunate. Overall, we had a wonderful meal and will definitely be returning soon.
