"During my recent visit, I found the food to be dry and lukewarm. I frequent this restaurant often, but it seems that the Sunday carvery has become inconsistent. I had requested to sit closer to the food area when I made my reservation, but ended up sitting far away, which was quite disappointing. The only bright spot of this visit was our waitress, who was very helpful. Given this experience, I don’t think I would return anytime soon."

Carvery was tasty, hot with good selection of vegetables. I really enjoyed it. Waiter was so polite and helpful

We were seen to as soon as we got there. The meat potion size was very small the carvery chef disnt say a word to us juat cut the meat and handed the plate.

Although it was very busy, showed to table. Queue of 20 people infront but with two carvers queue did not take take long to get served. Food fresh and well tasty. Staff were friendly and polite.

This was my first have visit to Toby Carver Cockleshell and I will be making a return visit. Only one small criticism, server did not have full understanding of menu offer but did check and serve item correctly.

The staff are always fabulous. The food wasn't so wonderful today though. I love swede and thought it was on the menu today but not sure...it was a strange taste, the cauliflower cheese was very al dente and the serving area was very grubby.
