Had one of the best cooked fish I've ever had having lived in the town of skegness all my life , proper good quality haddock cooked perfectly.

Best chip shop ever!! Fish was huge and the batter was amazing!! Loved the decor and the service was friendly and quick. Awesome value for money!!

The fish and chips we had was by far the best we have tasted in 10 years+ The portions are very big and only £7.95 which is cheap. Thank you for an excellent meal and great service

Visited on the back of the TripAdvisor reviews. And was disappointed. Fish wasn’t same day fresh like advertised. Skin on is a good touch tho. What it is is cheap. £8 for large fish, chips and peas. But you get what u pay for. Most good fish shops sell fresh fish at £8+. Have to ask how these can do it so cheap if it’s the same fish?

Took my family here for lunch and we have been here a few times and we have never had a bad experience. Although as a very popular plaice (pun intented) it gets busy which is to be expected. Our food was very good, lovely flakey fish non greasy batter and lovely hot chips. Side portions are ample. Our children always enjoy coming here and the kids meals are just right. There is always someone on the shop floor tidying up and making sure tables and floors are clean, which i dont see anywhere else. Keep up the good work Trawlers Catch. Your a credit to this seaside town.

Utterly disappointed in this restaurant today. We have been eating at this restaurant frequently over two years for its beautifully piping hot, crispy, golden battered fresh, flakey fish What on earth has happened? How can what was once a supreme meal fall so low, from the best fish we’d ever eaten, to the very worst today? The batter was a congealed, lukewarm spongy mess, the fish was old and chewy, the mushy peas were sour bordering on being off and the meagre chips were a sad, soggy mess underneath. We didn’t ask for the money back, we simply took the meals back to the counter, showed them, told them what we thought and said we were leaving. Their response was ‘alright’. It’s not about th...
