"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant for my birthday. The owners, Graham and Rob, gave me a card which was a very thoughtful gesture. The courtyard at the back has been nicely renovated with heaters for chilly evenings. The food was exceptional, even for my non-vegan family members. This restaurant is a great place to try vegan food for the first time. Supporting local independent eateries like this one is what makes Cornwall such a special place. Don't wait until it's too late to appreciate these unique establishments. Investing in local businesses like this one will not disappoint you. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, answer our questions about the food, and take the time to chat with us. I am excited to visit again soon."

"Unfortunately, the restaurant was very cold when we arrived at 5:30 for a pre-theatre meal, and we never quite warmed up, which really detracted from the overall experience. The service was a bit slow, but it was a busy Friday evening, so understandable. We felt somewhat rushed as if we were on a conveyor belt. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. Thank you."

"Called in on a day out in Truro. We were searching for somewhere to eat, and quite by luck we came across Chorleys. We looked at the menu outside, and were drawn in by that and the amazing aromas wafting out. Three of us each had a different burger, and shared some peri peri fries, which had a lovely kick to them, and the crispiest onion rings we’ve ever tasted. The food was of the highest quality, and the gentleman serving us was extremely polite and good at his job. We explained that one of our group had a dairy allergy, which was no problem and the cheese on that persons burger was exchanged for a dairy free alternative. We are visiting Cornwall again in a few weeks, and will travel down to Truro from Bude to eat there again. "The food at Tabb's was truly exceptional. The chef's creative flair was evident in every dish, and the service was top-notch with staff who were very knowledgeable about the culinary offerings. Finding parking was a breeze, especially in the evenings, which was a definite plus. It was disappointing that the restaurant was so quiet, but it may have been due to it being the end of the tourist season. Such high-quality food deserved a larger crowd of diners. The interior decor felt a bit dull and uninspired, which may have contributed to the lack of patrons. The menu options were somewhat limited, though this is common for fine dining establishments."
