"We had been in this restaurant some time ago, and it was very already very good. We went back with 6 persons of our families. The manager recognized us and offered us a great welcome, with a Champagne drink. We then had starters to share:...Two huge plates of cured ham and truffles, and pata Negra ham, absolutely superb. We chose a Clos Peyrassol red wine which was as good as any good Bordeaux wine that we like so much usually.. We then had individual full fresh sea bass fish at Eur 17 !! each, a shrank of lamb cooked in an orange sauce at Eur 20, a full plate of crushed potatoes with a lot of truffles for eur 22 and so on. Dessert with a wonderfull lemon tart eur 7 and a full jar of crème caramel that you can eat as you want for eur 7. Superb evening, superb service and superb atmosphere, we will be back as often as possible when we know that in St Tropez rip off is current in the so called hip restaurants."

Pizza with truffle was ok but nothing special to justify 20€, so was gnocchi woth buffala. Rest was from average to bad, worst was the shrimp linguini. Even worse was the service.

many tables outside to watch the people and traffic on the road to the st tropez city. general portions and very cheap prices in st tropez standard. good pizzas and veal dances. in any case worth a visit if they get tired of eating French.

Called in for a drink when walking back to our hotel after a night out in the port of Saint Tropez. About 5 minutes walk out of the port it was a good find. Long restaurant which was very busy and noisy with loud music....Had a couple of drinks until closing time. Service was good. Visualizza piatti

Fabulous little bistro at reasonable prices slightly off the beaten path in St Trop. Truffle pizza with real truffle shavings for €20 and plenty of other pizzas, wonderful burrata, pasta and a diverse selection of meat and fish. Service was friendly and attentive. Thoroughly recommend.

peyrassol is located near the main parking port in st tropez. so it is convenient for a visitor of the city. it is near the harbour so looks as if it is used by a lot of local business for fast lunch etc. pizza, but it has other possibilities. our pizzas were nice and not too expensive. but is the offhand style of our waiter. a canvas Visualizza piatti

the worst place of all time! we went there to the breakfast, there was no one who insisted, then the waiter came from outside with a zigarette in her hand and without mask so against the covid law. she got us the breakfast that soou tastes bad, she... complained to us and although I complained, she lifts her voice and made us pay the whole price. when they come to saintpez, make sure not to eat at this place

This was the only place we ate food during our day trip to Sainte-Tropez so I am not sure if the prices are on par with the surrounding restaurants but it is pricey. Assuming that all other restaurants charge around the same because of their...location, I can say that this food is worth it. I ordered the carbonara which has truffle slices in it and was not disappointed. The burgers were €22-ish but my friends said they were delicious. Our dessert was also very tasty. Solid place.

"It was the best of meals, The second, not so much. On the Wednesday evening we explained that we needed one gluten free meal. We were immediately handed over to a charming lady, who we took to be the proprietor. She assured us that she would confer with the chef. We ordered a “coquelet roti” with a cream and grape sauce and a fillet steak served without sauces. Chips were covered in gluten but the chef proposed a salad for the steak and the “coquelet” came with a Gratin Dauphinoise. All the food was delicious. The chicken was soft and sweet the sauce had a depth of flavour aided and abeted by the small bursts of sweet grape juice from the grapes within it. The steak was perfect; maximum of flavour from the seared outside, maximum of soft juiciness from the tender pink interior. Dessert was a fruit crumble that had not had the crumble added, pronounced delicious, and a crème broulee. The crème was not a traditional baked vanilla egg custard. It tasted like a flour based preparation and was devoid of vanilla. All in all, the service had been attentive and the food mostly great. We determined that we would return for a second meal and looked forward to it.Mistake! Sunday evening, the waitress remembered us, and promised to check for gluten free food. She checked the Champaign sauce that was served with the Salmon. We could not have it. She was not aware that the rice, the dauphinoise and the chips all contained gluten. She suggested salad. We said that would be fine. The Dorade Royale, one of my favourite fish was sold out but they could offer Sea Bass. O.K., that would do. The salad delivered with the dry salmon was a simple bag mix of leaves, not the fresh mixed salad it had been four days before. It had brown stalks and tasted stale. The fish was undoubtedly the worst cooked fish I have ever been served. It had clearly been laid on a metal tray and placed under an electric grill. It had not been turned or moved until it was served. Consequently, the top skin was like leather. It defied my efforts with the serrated knife provided to cut through it. I had to prize it off to get to the very dry fish beneath. A simple glaze of oil would have ensured that the skin became crispy and a delicious part of the fish. It would also have ensured that the (Chef?) remembered to turn the fish under the grill. When I turned the fish on the plate, the lower side skin was a soggy mess where all the juices had soaked it through. Scraping it off, the second fillet was edible, despite the attentions of the chef. We told the waitress what was wrong with our food. She said she would tell the chef. We don’t know if she did. We did not see him."
