"Visited Urban Jungle with a friend on a Sunday afternoon for a catch up etc., and admittedly I had never been pre-Covid, but the cafe was just fine… it was a neither “here nor there” experience. The cafe was fine; the jungle setting wasn’t necessarily a winning factor in the ‘experience’. It was much smaller than I imagined from the rave reviews I had heard about. Atmosphere felt quite stuffy and ‘close’ (having said that, I normally find that with a cafe at garden centre!)The food was fine too; quiche (only savoury smack available). A little bland but edible. Coffee was fine too. Cost was on the pricier side I felt…The service was fine, again. Staff were pleasant when taking an order and apologising for the “big” order just taken before mine. Service did not take long either. Overall, a ‘just fine’ place to catch up with a friend. Would I go again… probably yes and probably not. I wouldn’t necessarily actively go out of my way. If someone suggested it, I’d go but with maybe a slight grimace."

Lovely little , friendly spot. Hot chocolate to die for and the scones are delicious. Top tip, if there are no seats inside , have a look outside .

This restaurant is a tranquil sanctuary, with cats lazing about, a koi pond complete with a bridge, and charming hanging flowers adorning every corner.

Slightly disappointed with the changes that have been made here. The garden shop area has been made bigger with less in the cafe. The cake on offer is OK, but food choice much more limited. Also no fresh ground coffee and hot drinks served in tin mugs, which are hot to handle and make me think of camping, not a cafe. Visualizza piatti

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning. The staff gave us a warm welcome and the atmosphere was fantastic. The coffee and cakes were delicious. I especially liked the hanging plants in the surroundings, and was excited to find a plant I had been searching for a long time (Persicaria Bat Wings). I often visit this restaurant when I am visiting family in Norwich.

Visiting the (very good plant centre with my parents. Quirky decor in the cafe walked my mother to a table and waited behind a woman who was paying for her order. Got to the counter to be told that they were closed (presumably in the previous thirty seconds or so. Cafe shuts at 4. Short driveway from main road has large potholes beware if you are driving a small vehicle.

We hadn't visited Urban Jungle since before the pandemic...and we were disappointed. The plants and pond are still beautiful, but the comfortable chairs and entire menu are gone. When we asked to see the lunch menu, the waitress rudely told us it was all displayed. The atmosphere was no longer warm and welcoming, and the delicious food was missing. We ended up going to Willow's, just a 5-minute drive away, and had a fantastic experience. Visualizza piatti

Arrived for an early lunch with my sis in law, we used to be regulars prior to covid. Always enjoyed the food and choice of coffees before but it seems they no longer have a menu, only cake.We asked if anything else was available to be told there was a quiche, however it could only be pinged in the microwave and served with "sachets of sauce "We didn 't stay and went elsewhere. The plants etc are still good but we were very disappointed with the cafe.

Very disappointing visit. I used to bring my children here all the time pre-Covid (when they banned kids). We came back for the first time in January 2023 and it’s really gone downhill. All the lovely sofas and relaxed seating has gone, as has most of the menu. It’s REALLY expensive. £3.60 for a coffee! I ordered a tea which was a bag in a mug (previously you would get loose leaf tea in a pot). The sausage rolls were anaemic looking and pricey. Not much change from £10 for a mug of tea, an apple juice and a packet of crisps.

"Where do I even begin? The service from the woman behind the bar was shocking. When I inquired about dairy-free options for my son, I was told that nothing could be modified and that they don't cater to allergies at all! I pointed out the menu's claim that they could accommodate such needs, but my concerns were met with an eye roll. I then tried to order him some chips, but was told they were fried in the same oil as dairy and meat products, and since we are vegetarian, that wouldn't work. I asked about the vegan dishes, only to learn that they are also prepared alongside meat products, so there's no guarantee they would actually be vegan. At this point, my daughters had already become excited about eating out and the play area, so I reluctantly decided to go along with it and ordered three sandwiches on granary bread and a child's fish and chips. My son had a packet of crisps. When the sandwiches arrived, they were absolutely terrible. The cheese and onion sandwich consisted of two slices of cheap store-bought bread, some pre-grated cheese, and a few onion slices—without even a hint of butter! It certainly wasn’t inexpensive; we paid £45 for four soft drinks, three sandwiches, and a child's meal. As for the play area, it was concerning—there were sharp screws poking through the wood chips, loose sharp fixtures on top of the slide, and a large exposed electric cable under the swings! We decided to leave swiftly; it was such a disappointing way to end our holiday, when it should have been a lovely final meal before heading home. I was appalled by their attitude towards me—I felt like an inconvenience. The food was awful, and I genuinely recommend avoiding this place if you are vegan or have allergies; even if a dish is labeled vegan, they certainly don’t take the necessary precautions to keep it separate from meat products. It’s truly unfortunate, as the location by the river is beautiful, and we were all so excited to be there, but we left feeling very disappointed. We definitely won't be returning."
