"This restaurant is a delightful and clean place with a welcoming staff. The spicy food was absolutely delicious. Our favorite dish was the Salmon tikka starter, it was incredibly tasty! The Tarka Dhal and Aubergine curry were also very flavorful. We will definitely return the next time we are in Stratford. Overall, we give this restaurant a rating of 4 for food, 5 for service, and 5 for atmosphere. Price per person is between £10-£20 for dinner."

Amazing food at LFC. The service was great and we had a wonderful dinner. The price per person ranged from £40 to £50. We highly recommend trying the Tandoori Chicken.

First time trying Usha. I cannot comment on service or atmosphere as we had a take-away. Unfortunately, the curries we ordered (chicken tikka masala and korma) were bland, couldn’t really taste any spices and the sauce was a bright luminescent colour. Food: 1

This restaurant was recommended to us by guests at our hotel during an overnight stay nearbe. What an absolute delight. I couldn't fault the service or the food. "What a great dining experience. The restaurant had a lovely ambience, although it was a bit quiet on a Monday lunchtime. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive and the food tasted great."

"Update....we received an apology from the management team and decided to give it another go. Have to say, this morning, the service and food were fantastic. The Throckmorton is definitely back on our list of great places for breakfast. Been here many times. Food usually good but, had breakfast this morning was very poor. Bacon reheated, toast burnt, had to ask for glass of water 4 times before it came. Complained, waitress said would let chef know. No feedback from kitchen. Asked waitress if she'd said anything she said she had. Poor service. No apology. We're regular customers but will not come here for breakfast again."

"Having not visited for some time after a rather disappointing meal a few years ago, we decided to visit following some great, recent reviews. The decor has been updated and is now a calm, airy venue with well spaced seating. The manager, Carl was incredibly friendly and helpful. But, most importantly the food was fantastic. I'm annoyed that none of our group took photo's now! We had a couple of the small bite plates as shared starters Scampi, Houlloumi, Crispy Cauliflower Tato Tots all were delicious (and the selection made it really hard to choose just 4 . The Fish and chips were fab with a really good sized piece of fish (you know, where it overhangs the plate! , a friend had the vegan burger which she thoroughly enjoyed, and the dirty fries were just fabulous. There is a smaller selection of desserts, but it is probably enough to choose from to be honest. Between us we had the Vanilla Poached pineapple with Coconut icecream and honey comb and the Eton mess not a crumb was left! I'd definitely urge anyone to give them a try. They're trying really hard to bring the place back to it's former glory and are doing a really good job. We'll definitely be going back and recommending to friends and family. The only reason for a 4 for atmosphere was because it was a quiet Thursday evening."

"We went for lunch. We hadn't been here before so were unsure what to expect. My partner ordered the big breakfast, I ordered a jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn. We were very pleasantly surprised. Very friendly service which was super speedy, even though they were virtually at capacity. The components of the breakfast were good quality and it was cooked well. The potato was cooked properly and had lots of real butter in it, there was a BIG pile of tuna and sweetcorn to add as required and the biggest side salad I've ever had. It had everything imaginable in it, even pomegranate, pineapple and asparagus plus two types of coleslaw. Good value for money. We would definitely recommend it and will be going again."

"As always brilliant, venue, superb staff and great food. We go there annually for a Christmas family gathering as we are scattered across the southern half of the UK. We always request then snug or side room as it accommodates about 12 of us and we can relax without being overheard. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending this place."
