"We went to Vedis because we wanted "something else" than Pasta/pizza after a week in Italy. The restaurant is well located in the Prenzlauer district and we were seated outside. The waiter was very attentive and we ordered several different dishes at very reasonable prices. We did not know the quality to expect, but were very pleasantly surprised. A tasty aperitif was served and afterwards our food was served. All was very tasty and portions were more than we could handle. During the meal the staff were very focused on making sure everything was OK and to our satisfaction. We spent less money than in many other restaurants during our 2 week holiday in Europe, but had one of the best meals in a very long time. Thumbs up for Vedis!!"

Ich habe ein feines Mittagessen im Vedis eingenommen. Das Restaurant ist schön, die Bedienung nett und gut, aber der absolute Hit sind die einmalig schönen WC Räume.

Helpful service so feel a bit unfair only giving three stars. The food is generous and good value. If you are used to eating Indian in UK or India, then it will be a bit bland and uninspired. Maybe ask them to add more spice?

Attirati dalle buone recensioni su tripadvisor abbiano deciso di cenare in questo locale. Ottimo il cibo e porzioni più che abbondanti (un unico piatto sazia tranquillamente una persona affamata), personale cortese e disponibile e conto più che onesto. Locale aperto fino a tardi la sera. Fateci un salto!

für dieses Restaurant. Super Essen und sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung. Mittag gibt es Vorsuppe, Hauptspeise und Salat und alles zu einem super Preis zur Mittagszeit. Hier kann man entspannt Zeit mit Freunden verbringen und das Umfeld ist sehr harmonisch. Macht Euch auf den Weg und probiert es selbst aus. Guten Appetit wünsche ich.

We were in the area and went there for dinner. it was 15€ per person for all you eat. We had to queue for quite a long time. the buffet was alright but definitely had better Indian food before.in some of the dishes there was almost no meat left as others probably fished the bits out.Service was average but friendly.Maybe it would have been a better experience to order from the menu.

Been here at least 10 times now and each time it has been a wonderful experience. You do not expect the same kind of food as we get back in India but believe me, this is the closest of all. They have a great feel-good ambience, the staff is super friendly and food is super tasty too. They have a huge seating and we have always loved their outdoor seating.Tip: ask them to make your food very-spicy to get the home feeling.For vegetarians, try their Paneer Butter Masala or Chhole-Bhature and you will be thanking me!
