Good welcome, good traditional menu, attentive service and above all a calmer atmosphere than those of Montparnasse and Faubourg Montmartre I recommend

Fast, simple, large menu, kids friendly. A sure value. Less welcoming than other broths but normal, it's a passing restaurant with the train station opposite.

Very good time spent waiting for our train in a typical setting. A warm welcome, very good and no-fuss cuisine. Thanks to Djello for impeccable and pleasant service. I highly recommend

Diagonally opposite the Gare de l'Est, French cuisine recommended on the Internet. The decoration in the store is very retro, and the waiters will discuss suggestions with you. The food is served very quickly and is really cheap and delicious. Highly recommended duck confit

Had a few hours to kill between train journeys, this place was outside the station we are next departing from. The lady serving us was very nice, luckily her English was better than our French. Our Ciabattas were lovely, as were our coffees. Found it ideal for a quick bite to eat

Since all the cafes in Gare de l’Est only had outside seating and long queues, we decided to find somewhere else whilst waiting for our train. VIDICI, only a few minutes walk from the station, with indoor seating, and was not busy at all. “Picolina” deals were ideal. Pastry tasted fresh and the coffee and fresh OJ was great.

We choose it, because it was close to our hotel. We don't speak frensh, but someone always speaks english. You get what you see. I ate the linguine with salmon, it was absolutely fantastic. Never had that much frsh and good tasting salmon in a pasta before. The table water was for free,the prices really cheap for such a meal.

This was across from the hotel I was staying in and I decided to try it. There are so many pastries and cakes on offer and coffee that you don’t see from the street but are kept at the counter inside. Amazing service from a lovely lady that took my order and brought it to me when the coffer was ready. Really great value for money and a lovely interior space so close to the station. Croissants were awesome, fresh and tasty. Loved the chocolate one the most. Coffee also great tasting. Loved it.
