the restaurant is great. tasty eating, friendly service and formed over food allergies (in my case, they were very attentive the whole dinner around gluten for me.) highly recommended.

the service was very polite, but not intrusive. eating was very high quality and authentic Thai cuisine. I don't know about the Japanese kitchen, but they can watch how the sushi is made fresh by a profi. the prices are in the higher sector, but the great food is worth it.

Spring rolls, red curry and sesam ice cream was very delicious. My friends who had Sushi were not all happy with it. The staff was very friendly but occasionally forgot to bring something (we were a group of 8). The price was ok, i paid €46 for my 3 course menu with a bottle of water, a lemongrass ice tea and a cappucino.

I come here with a friend who wants to get to know the restaurant: also she is delighted with the spicy, tasty dishes offered on two menus, one for Villa Thai, the other with sushi by the Master Kusakabe. we went to our jubilee and I must say it was the best japanese I had around these waters. sure it is an interesting environment, an old German restaurant with a terrace that is grown with wine and serves tasty looking thai and tasty tasting Japanese food. all thunfishes are here maguro, chutorro and torro tempura freaks out super and so was everything else we had. only what keeps me from being more regular is the price, but I can't expect to be back on something more of this quality.

We (three adults and a child of two years and five months) have the restaurant on 17. February 2020 visited again and was once again enthusiastic about food and service. The restaurant is really recommended. The ambience is very beautiful and in summer you can also sit on the terrace outside. The food comes quite fast, the service is top and the services are very friendly. Unfortunately, locality is not recommended if you want to return with smaller children – the house staff was very friendly to the children – unlike a number of guests who have visited us in a more embarrassing and insulting way after our grandchild was a bit loud. Villa Thai has long been in Freiburg's west. First in a former steak house that was expelled with a lot of bamboo and carving.
