"it matched my mood tired, thirsty and antisocial. One of the coworkers did that the thing not to see them in the eyes when they pass them their drink, and they say thank you for him (maybe I was too successful, my leave me look alone! . it should not annoy me, but that does it. after he said that the place has a nice mood to him. drinks prices seem appropriate for the venue. I didn't try to eat. I would probably come back if in brackish and wanted to chill on a Friday afternoon."

"Although my meal, in the end, was delicious, it was a torturous route to get there. Oh, and before I forget, I did send a message directly to the YR via their website ‘contact us’ facility on Sunday 24 Sept, but not so much as an acknowledgement which downgraded my review one star further. I have a dairy intolerance and telephoned in advance to check I could be catered for and was assured I could be. I ordered sea bass and was assured dairy free. It arrived covered in a sauce but again assured it was dairy free. I was suspicious so asked yet again and a second waitress went to “double” check. After a few seconds my plate was whisked away. I was with a group of friends but at no time was any one of us asked about allergies or intolerances. I could have been severely unwell and this is not just about me. I expect better. Room for improvement"

"Please dont waste your time. I am a local resident and every time I go I am met with rude staff, poor service, bad food and flat drinks. Most frustrating is there inconsistent messaging around their outside sitting area you call and they say you can’t book and then you turn up and they say you needed to book or they must priortise hotel guests “incase” they book while tables stand empty across fhe place. Save yourself time and energy and go to the Winning Post where all the locals know it is the best food, service and atmosphere, with the friendliest staff around!"

"A birthday meal with the family..and previous visits (a few over the last year) prompted us to return. This will be the last time though. Shocking...everything it was like being in Fawlty Towers. Seated quickly and the menu at the table were the only good things. 15 mins later we were attended to, to ask for drinks. We said we were ready to order food, as we had beeb waiting so long, but the waiter insisted on drinks being ordered first. Having gone around the whole table, the waiter asked why my wife was not ordering a drink...which she had already ordered. Seriously, there only 4 of us. Before leaving us, he then tried to take the menu away. 10 mins later, the drinks came out...only 3 ! Eventually got the 4th, and he preceeded to take our food order. 25 mins later, the starters came out. Calamari was seriously had the taste and texture of a thick rubber bands...deep fried. Gross. When the main courses came out, plenty of food for sure, but really salty spaghetti. Tried to grab waiter 's attention...simply ignored. We were just left, even though we were closest to the kitchen/bar area...with 3 empty glasses for the entire meal. You would like to think that someone with integrity, would ask why the finished plates had half the food remaining. Nope, not even a was everything ok? Won 't be back."

"Food and drinks are getting worse each time and now even the service was bad. Last time we went there the food was just bad, the cocktails were so bad that they even the manager said she wouldn’t drink it. We came back today just for drinks and snacks to give it another chance, we sat outside for a good while and no one came to serve, went to the bar and asked if they would serve outside, the answer was “No, you have to use the QRCode”, since the Internet is so bad I asked, can I order here then? “No, we are too busy serving the back so you have to order with QRCode”.
