fantastic 2 nights. beautiful large room. breakfast amazing. evening meal excellent. beautiful staff. many thanks to all in the white horse inn who care about us. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

We had a lovely lunch with our family at this restaurant. Despite it being quiet (as it was midweek), we felt very welcomed and comfortable. The food was delicious, especially the grilled dishes! I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

I met up with some friends at this restaurant and we were all very impressed with the quality of both the food and service. We all decided to order the steak pie, which was absolutely delicious. And the chips were simply amazing - the best I've ever had! Visualizza piatti

beautiful rustic atmosphere. quiet country pub in the middle of ampleforth. a beautiful pub in a beautiful village in a beautiful part of the landscape. would definitely recommend this place if they visit the opposite or a local. it would be worth the trip from york.

Called in here today after a long walk, initially just for a drink but stayed for Sunday lunch and it was outstanding. The owners were friendly, chatty and very helpful. Have visited this pub a few times but never stayed over Under new management they became dog friendly so stayed nights for a friends reunion Arranged a lunch for the reunion attended and chef provided a lunch of soup personal choice...of hot or cold sandwiches (very substantial portion) and chips at p/p Room we stayed in was spacious clean warm and lashings of hot water Substantial and wide choice of breakfast items and great dinner choice in the evening Staff could not be any more helpful and attentive stars from us and we will be back Visualizza piatti

Well what a lovely stay we had, checked into the White Horse after visiting York, we were given the warmest welcome by John and Dawn. After we were settled into our lovely room Rose room) which was really comfortable and cosy, especially the super...king bed, we wondered down to the bar and restaurant for an evening meal. Again we were greeted by the friendly hosts and even the regulars made us feel welcome. Food was not a disappointment either yummy). Amazing nights sleep followed and then a great breakfast. Thanks again John and Dawn could not fault a thing.

I recently stayed one night at the White Horse and it was a fantastic little spot. The village is charming and the pub is wonderful. We dined here and had the steak pie, which was delicious with a generous portion size. The beer was also great, and there was a lot of local atmosphere with the friendly locals. Our bedroom was lovely with an en-suite bathroom and a fully-stocked mini bar. It was also very peaceful at night, making for a good night's sleep. The breakfast the next morning was abundant and delicious. I highly recommend this B&B, as the hosts were also very friendly.

we have eaten two cheeky teenage boys in white horse inn last month. we couldn't have received a warmer greeting. Although the owners were busy john and dawn on Saturday night, the owners left to explain the menu and make sure we feel comfortable. there were logs on the fire and an amazing atmosphere with the locals at the bar that makes the evening even more entertaining. the kitchen was great to get our meals in time (not always the case at a busy weekend in pubs) and the standard of the food was amazing. kudos an den koch! this is not pubic food it is high class restaurant standard. her gravure becomes amazing reviews and quite right. do not miss this place! beautiful ride there, amazing...
