Wing Hong Chinese Take Away

Perhaps the most tasteless, poor quality Chinese food i have ever eaten. If you are a local, bad luck, if you are a visitor, find somewhere else to eat.

Good value for money and lovely tastey food. Worth the visit. Will definately go again. The staff were plesant and friendly....downside....take cash, they don't except card here

Lovely place. Staff are polite and chatty. And they are generous with their portion sizes (not OTT though). Go regularly and get the boys their fortnightly treat. Well worth a visit

We ordered a large takeaway for the family whilst on holiday nearby. The order was ready within 20mins, hot and fresh. The staff were very friendly. We are a fussy bunch but thoroughly enjoyed our meal-the duck pancakes were amazing-the meat was tender and crispy not at all fatty and the kung po chicken was delicious too-wish this was our local takeaway!

wanted a quick meal to take to hotel chose Chinese.chicken chow mein ?mystery meat could of been chicken but was mushy and spongy.noodles were OK but had an inch of soya in bottom.chickn curry was like a solid gel square bits of chicken as well as the afore mentioned spongy mystery meat.chips hard dry and unpalletable.Needless to say none of it was eaten just binned it and made do with CRISPS!

Ordered Beef Cuury and Roasted Pork Curry and both were very good, We ordered and as we were waiting for our meal I read the reviews on here and thought oh no but when we got back with it dished out up and the only thing wrong with it was the portions were too big the food was delicious and would use again. Ignore the bad reviews they are from a while back and if our meal was anything to go by it has improved by a long shot.

Ordered a takeaway from here as stated under new management........The food was bland and the beef tough,had to hunt for prawns and the prawn curry a strange orange colour was disgusting.My feet will do the walking and never return a complete waste of money.Come on Honiton can one of the chinese establishments serve decent and edible food please,it is tiresome to have to travel further afield and with no home delivery expense added.

If you like your Chinese food Bland and Tasteless but Cheap, then Wing Hong Honiton is for you. On returning for another take-away we discovered that the business has changed hands. The food quality at Wing Hong has always been very hit and miss, and varied greatly from night to night. The prices appear to have remained the same, though some items are no longer available and the quality has plummeted. Located at 147, High Street, you can often park outside, and the Lace Walk Car-Park is a short walk away. Our Roast Pork Fried Rice and Chicken Chow Mein dishes were almost tasteless and contained only a tiny amount of meat. The flavourless red gunk they supplied masquerading as Sweet Sour Sauc...
