the stub was very elaborate and lovingly renovated last year, yet the restaurant has not lost the cozy and homey atmosphere. the fish dishes are absolutely top and very delicious. authentic, honest and grounded kitchen - absolutely top!

the magnificent barn house stands on Schaffhauser floor, but very good to reach from zürich. there is hardly anything more beautiful than to eat fish from the surrounding waters on a lukewarm summer evening in the garden baked or steamed fish and to drink a fine local white wine.

the restaurant for fish lovers. we enjoyed kabissalat with speck cube (fr. 8.50) as an appetizer and steamed (not fried) zanderfilet (fr. 31) to the main course. great service, good value for money. closed Wednesday/Thursday, i.e. one of the few restaurants where you can eat out on Monday. Calculate some geduld in time, as everything is freshly prepared.

This is a beautiful restaurant, beautifully renovated and with a top position. The service (for eight) was done by a happy woman alone. The restaurant is a favorite of the birthday boy and the menu is strictly Swiss. The food was fine, but not much more, the best was the salad dressing. We would certainly come back, but a bit more whipped on the menu welcome.

newly renovated bar house and restaurant with simple, autentic and tasty fish dishes. whether lunch or dinner - without reservation it becomes difficult. the sevice is quiet, competent and inconsistent. the right at the right time fresh and hot served on the table. also perfect for crying. the wee are by the way very inexpensive - especially those of local winzers.

we liked it locally but if you want to fish rice instead of potatoes, you have to pay 6 Fr.extra and get nothing for the non-eat kartoffels. not quite fair. the fish was tasty but comes in a saucen lake about unkindly presented therefore. the salate was very good and also plentiful. the bottle smoked cheap, for hahnenwasser you have to pay but we also declare in the map.

even after the remodeling still a nice cozy local. the service was very moderate this time, we had unfortunately a new served daughter without a flair and with little knowledge and no attention. the kabissalat as usual a joy. the fish was unfortunately not good this time, different taste from piece to piece. very bad. now yes should not but there can be. therefore this time not negatiw considered in the evaluation.

the recently restored factory house with a lot of stylistic feeling dates back to 1510. one sits in "the stub" the place for good 35 people. the room is characterized by a lot of light wood, which gives it a nice comfort.The map is characterized by various fish dishes - egli, zander, felchen, salmon trout, trout, hot, baked or steamed and as a dish or against a small impact than larger portion. There are no snorkeling salads, like the excellent kabbissalat. all at reasonable prices.Very personally the service.The restaurant is worth visiting on all occasions.

we were very happy in the stubborn, in the baggage the memory of the old economy many years ago. Conclusion: the house was beautifully restored, the actual stubborn very gently modernized and still cozy. the garden generously designed with a lot of space between the tables, the old charm is missing. the fish kitchen is still good, but not overwhelming. the served trout steamed for a normal appetit significantly too small, the toned potatoes sufficient for it. Price/performance ratio however ok. pity: the salat comes with an all-worlddressing (not homemade) service: friendly, but not very competent.That no credit cards are accepted is difficult to understand.
