"Went for a business dinner during a conference as part of a group of 50. The restaurant had a rustic feel to it but the staff were very professional and they managed our big party very well. We had a set menu so can't really comment on their normal menu, but all the the courses and the wines on offer were excellent. All in all a very pleasant evening"

"The place was recommended by the hotel. So we booked a table and ordered 4 different pasta dishes. All of them was typical italian simple but good. And the prices was really cheap compared to the quality. Certainly a place to visit again on our next stop."

"The food was good (if not exactly as ordered). Unfortunately, the normal part also ends and we have to follow the latest reviews on waiting time. We watched the pizza pickups for 1 1/2 hours, as they were served and supplied. Only on our demand was our food taken care of. (what still took) The restaurant is completely overwhelmed with pizza service and local customers. Sorry dear operators, but you should choose between restaurant and pickup service. You definitely lose your customers. Because we were most disappointed when we were not even invited by the head of the house to a small “excuse” drink. Or somehow treated like we've been there before, or at least like paying guests. No grappa, no espresso, and no word of regret. Nothing. And we're regular customers here! Corona rules are not observed here. The boss does not wear a mask and moves freely among the guests. As always, you sit back on your back No distance and no guest registration. Rating of the guest thus : Absolutely zero. Really sad."

"during a walk we discovered this pacious house and restaurant. all very clean and tirett. inside it is very cozy and we have eaten excellently wild. on the way from the parking lot to the lonely beer garden we were strongly advised that the dog should be leashed. well, there is a sign and the wet has bad experiences with dog owners who let their animals go everywhere. So, take the dogs and the leash, and have a bag. that improves the laune and it makes it easier for the person to keep this beautiful place of hospitality clean and cozy."

"The Gasthof Waldhäusle in the Waltenhofen Helen district is almost in the middle of the forest, as the name suggests. Pleasant parking spaces directly at the inn invite guests from close and far to spend a cozy time in the large beer garden with adjacent playground or in one of the host rooms and let them go well. A big party stadium can be rented for weddings or celebrations. There are regional and seasonal freshly prepared dishes on the menu, including vegetarians. After a slaughter of Allgäu cattle or pig, you will also find on the map dishes such as tongue with roast potatoes, cautions or the like, which you hardly get differently. The price-performance ratio is good and the portion sizes enjoy hungry guests. Great praise for the entire kitchen staff for the fact that food is always very good and that despite the whole house today so fleeting on a rainy Sunday. Extra praise for excellent roast potatoes, great supplement salads and my very good beef goulash with semmelknödeln. The other dishes at the table were also good. The entire service staff deserves an additional star, because despite the difficult conditions (Koronapads), the order was very friendly and fast received and served. There are also excellent, homemade cakes and a visit to the Waldhäusle can easily be combined with a hike or a bike ride!"
