Wish You Were Here Cafe

I recently visited a charming cafe on the main street. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. The meals were freshly prepared in-house and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Stopped for lunch in this quirky little cafe. Food was lovely. We ordered avocado and poached egg on toast and a bacon sandwich. Bacon was super crispy and cakes were delicious. Friendly staff and great decor.

ordered 2 local ham with homemade chutney sandwiches, 1 blt and 3 chips. short wait and these 3 humble handmade sandwiches arrive with 3 dishes from some of the most beautiful chips of all time. friendly staff, clean pleasant environment. would recommend this little caffe to everyone.

I eat much out of necessity, but if I'm in glastonbury, I always dine at the winking turtle. the food is excellent and the staff is first-class! Nothing is too much annoyed and they always make me very welcome, it is like a home from home for me. good prices and generous portions. well recommended.

This morning we stopped by this restaurant after noticing the dog-friendly sign in the window. We ordered coffee and breakfast sandwiches – the coffee was excellent and the egg was cooked perfectly. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making for a cozy and inviting atmosphere in the cafe.

Nasty rude people working at this low grade cafe, i had to take my food back the bacon was not cooked at all and it was cheap grade food. If you want quality breakfast with quality grade food go to the burger van next to proper job 2 minute walk. I will be reporting them to food health and safety and trading standards.

We stumbled on The Winking Turtle looking for somewhere for lunch that accepted dogs and I an hurry due to heavy rain. Delighted we found it! Wonderful soup (thank you Bev) hot hot drinks (thanks to Lorna) and excellent friendly service from all especially Stevie who included my dog in their attention Will definitely return when back in Glastonbury.

I came here and the food is not only delicious but very reasonably priced as well. The staff are very friendly here and there is plenty of room to sit inside. Dogs are welcome as well. I live part time in Glastonbury but work away and when I am in Glastonbury I will eat here if I fancy a cafe lunch If you are a visitor to Glastonbury I definitely recommend this lovely cafe, there is outside seating as well. I visited Glastonbury while on a week-long break in Crewkerne. I stopped by this charming cafe because it was dog-friendly. Despite forgetting my glasses, I inquired about gluten-free options and was pleased to see it clearly marked on the menu. When I placed my order, the woman at the counter asked if I had celiac disease, which I confirmed. When my food arrived, she explained that she had cleaned the kitchen and used all new, unopened ingredients to prepare my meal. I simply had a corned beef and onion sandwich, but the attention to detail was exceptional. I highly recommend this place to both celiacs and non-celiacs.
