Most beautiful seafood ever. Can’t fault it. 120 euro for a whole sole, 6 prawns and 2 scallops, a bit pricey but amazing! A very small restaurant that is extremely busy but worth the wait.

Came upon this place by accident as we wandered round the food market, one of the outside tables opened up as we wandered by so we decided to grab it and try the food. We were glad we did. A very short menu, we had...the fish soup which was very good.

Fish place right on the market with a few tables inside and outside. Staff is friendly and efficient, fish is fresh and perfectly prepared, the ambience however isn’t too fancy. It isn’t very cheap either. Was a food experience, not sure though I need to...go back.

they are on the viktualienmarkt in münchen and suddenly feel hungry but want to leave traditional Bavarian food for a change? then you will love this place. witte serves seafood and fish with them the full choice, what is fish / seafood. and how it is prepared. with wine or alcohol-free drinks, they are in the fish and seafood sky. we always ask ourselves how wit such fresh fish can deliver so far from any sea. Anyway, the service is also super nice and while they are about why not buy fish and seafood for their home cooking?

if they are in the mouth, it's imperative to go to fish witte! they have the best fishing one can only dream of. an additional plus is the excellent service the restaurant offers. the staff as well as the woman and herr witte are very welcome and friendly. I also enjoy the beautiful atmosphere on the fish witte at the viktualienmarkt. I've been to different places. in hamburg, san diego, hawaii. and it reminds me of the fish I ate when I was directly at the Pacific Ocean. just as tasty, fresh and a revival of all senses. it is a true journey into the Mediterranean cuisine! I think you judge the role of the chef with one of two attitudes. Either their job is to dazzle you with process. Or their job is to select the best available produce and allow it to shine. Witte takes route 2 and I couldn’t...love it more. We were lucky enough to have a local friend who booked us a table on a very busy Friday afternoon. As a result we sat in a reclaimed gondola from a ski lift and allowed our brilliant waitress Alina to dazzle us. This restaurant was recommended by two local people. Was all they promised. We sat outside, with an older gentleman and his son. They were fabulous lunch mates and just added to a lovely meal. The service is outstanding. She was friendly and happy. Enjoyed the...fresh oysters. They have 3 different varieties to choose from, just delicious. We shared the mussels in butter, white wine, and fine chopped garlic and leeks. It was served with toasted buttered bread. The best mussels we have ever had! great customer service! my family and I waited to sit in the house for almost 2 hours and when it was finally our turn to get out, we were asked to sit outside. we complained to the manager who led us to the table, for all the people who waited before us could sit inside. but they refused and said I should talk to their chief. I did it and she said she was the "big big chefin" and so, either we sit outside or we get nothing. while I went out, I heard her laughing behind me. we decided not to eat there because of the frightening customer service.
