Early dinner on a Sunday, really really good chicken pie with lots of tarragon and a really nice homemade gravy. Super comforting really well cooked food, exactly what I wanted to eat. Loved it.

The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. My autistic son felt at ease and confident enough to place his first food order. The staff listened attentively and brought out his meal exactly as he had described.

We had The Woodmans Arms recommended to us at the beginning of our holiday and so glad we decided to eat there. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. I would highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely fabulous experience. Warm welcome by the Landlords Harry, and Ronnie. The food was amazing, simple fresh food cooked with love, some of the salad and veg I believe was grown on site in their vey own allotment. We can't wait to return. This charming pub offers delicious homemade food in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The friendly staff provide excellent customer service, even making our dog feel welcome with treats and water. It's great value for money, we only wish we weren't leaving tomorrow so we could come back again.

The restaurant had amazing food and the staff were friendly and helpful. They were accommodating when my teenage nephew requested no salad on his burger, offering baked beans instead which he happily accepted. The chicken was cooked perfectly and there was a generous portion of it. Overall, all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

We tried to visit this pub earlier in the week when we visited the steam railway but didn't realize that the food wasn't served all day. It looked a nice place so we were determined to return. The pub had a nice atmosphere to it and was surprisingly busy for a weeknight evening. I had a lovely seafood linguini and my partner had lambs liver.
