"We were on holiday visiting the Forest of Dean and gotten off the beaten track when we came across this little gem. From the front we thought it was just a shop with some outdoor seating, but it had a lovely seating area upstairs. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding, both in presentation and taste. You’d expect to be paying far more for the quality of food served here. It’s quite small, so there were many people trying to be seated, we offered our table to someone who had turned up as we were not long from finishing our food. The shop downstairs was well stocked, with some items on the pricier side, but all the staff were friendly and there was a great choice of items. I’d certainly return and eat here again if I was local! Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and there were many families present when we were there with our children. Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t believe there is wheelchair access to the indoor eating area, but if the weather is favourable there is a seating area outside. This is a charming little gem! I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast while sitting in the garden. The menu offers a delightful variety of options. Service was great, and the price per person was very reasonable, ranging from £1 to £10.

Visited on Monday lunchtime, the cafe was closed but had coffee and cake from the shop delivered upstairs. Excellent quality and outstanding service from the lady running the shop. Food was lovely and obviously locally sourced by the quality. Lovely friendly staff. There is a hidden gem in the back garden which gives a relaxing atmosphere when planning your day ahead. Popped in here for breakfast on Sunday morning. Amazing value for money and really tasty, a nice ambience too! There's a bakery/shop downstairs too, we picked up a slice of cheesecake which was also superb. Well worth a visit if you're in the area!
