It’s somewhat hidden away up an alleyway but if you look for the sign it’s easy enough. Great food, all freshly cooked. Give yourself time to wait, it’s worth it!

Beautiful little chip shop up y pass ally way in ledbury . Food was among , very welcoming staff , would definitely go here again if we come to ledbury again . Highly recommend

We stopped here for lunch while out cycling. The fish and chips were cooked to order( he suggested we go for a walk and return in 10 minutes), and were delicious. They were quite happy to cook one portion gluten free and also provided gluten free ketchup.

I've been motivated to write a review having made three visits to Y Pass. The food served is absolutely outstanding All cooked freshly to order (bear that in mind if you are in a rush! and well worth the small extra wait. I'm a batter fan, and one of the bench marks for me of a good chippy is their batter The fish and battered Jumbo sausages I have tried had excellent crispy knobbly batter with very little oiliness. Chips are fantastic too. There are other good chip shops in Ledbury, but with the fairly recent new owners it is the best for sure. Other points to note The chip shop has several tables so you can eat in (or sit down while you wait! And it is cash only.

I have just had takeaway Haddock and chips washed down with a can of their finest RIO and I can honestly say this is a fantastic chippy. Haddock cooked fresh to order had a beautiful light crispy batter and the haddock tastes terrifically fresh. Chips are tasty, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Rio is just Rio. But, what is most amazing is that everything was still as it should be even after a fifteen minute car journey ! Nothing soggy or sweaty. The five to ten minute cooking time is well worth the wait in the comfortable restaurant area. Staff are delightful and very friendly. Well done Y-Pass !
