"Excellent food at Yildiz and highly recommend! We enjoyed the lamb kofta, the Yildiz special salad, and the calamari and we were not expecting the amount of beautifully presented food including such colourful, stunning salads. The koftas/kebabs come with a bowl of delicious fresh pittas, a superb side salad with marinated onions and pickled red cabbage, and some rice. The calamari was juicy and fresh, and the Yildiz salad was enormous with really juicy delicious cubes of feta. It exceeded all expectations and was thoroughly delicious (and so filling). The menu is extensive, and caters really well to vegetarians vegans, and all the allergens are flagged on the menu (such as molluscs or gluten). The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu."

Yildiz is great because it combines great tasting food with personable and friendly service. Their bread tastes great and the meat is flavoursome and succulent. Great to have as a local.

My new favourite restaurant in FP/Highbury. Fantastic meal: very fresh salad, meat, bread and I particularly loved the two kinds of onions that accompanied a Chicken Shish. The only way the experience could have been improved was by bigger servings of chilli and garlic sauce! Highly recommended.
