"Yo and I have had a wonderful relationship since the glory days of Sumo Sunday. I was over the moon when I heard that the Princes Street restaurant was going to open, as there's not much by way of offers for us yo lovers in our glorious capital, and Harvey Nichols doesn't have as the full selection of dishes. The Princes Street Branch had the chance to become my second home. It has most definitely had it's teething problems, with long waits for food, hot dishes coming out luke warm, and service suffering a fair bit. I gave it a go soooo many times, and after every visit was adamant that would be my last. However, my visit last night is HOPEFULLY the start of things to come. The dishes were hot, and the squid was absolutely superb in comparison to every other trip (so good I had two plates. There was new staff, who were a great laugh and keen to point out recommendations. New menu has lots of need treats...and I hope the level of service we got last night keeps up! Stick in!"

I really like Yo! It's always tasty and service is good. I took my brother for his first ever sushi dinner and he loved it. It is so easy to try new dishes. It is a bit pricey but I still like it!

excellent customer service and good food. Now they know what ingwer wasabi are meant in a sushi bar! Many thanks to Gabriel team that they take out all the stations to make sure we get our sushi school class. fantastic!

I'm vegan, although I only had a few options. most of the dishes were so good and above all I liked the fried rice, French fires and tofu, which was totally illuminated. friendly staff and very good place to try a new meal.

I would not call Yo Sushi the best sushi place in town but it definitely is good and service is fantastic. I liked that you could pick anything from the conveyer belt (not that many varied dishes, though) or order something from the menu if you wanted something different.

Loved loved loved the environment and super friendly staff! Since I’m a vegetarian, I was apprehensive about the menu at first but the staff suggested me such good options! Cucumber Maki roll, Veg Gyoza and Vegetable Yakisoba! I’d strongly recommend you all to visit and try! Note: since I love extra spicy, I ordered for chilli mayo on the side- delicious!

I'm a big fan of Yo Sushi across the country especially over the years (it's improved drastically). It's fast food essentially. So great when I don't want to be bothered and eating by myself. The Yo Sushi here on Princes Street is by far better than the one at Harvey Nichols. And I'm only talking about just the food itself. It's especially good when you just want a snack.

We recently visited Yo! Sushi for a casual sushi meal. Due to COVID, they now use a QR code system at the table, which allows diners to easily browse the menu and see prices before ordering. The food came quickly and we were able to try a variety of dishes without any issues. They also have a loyalty points system in place now which is a nice added bonus. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience at Yo! Sushi.

This restaurant is very cozy. Due to COVID, they now have a QR code on the table for ordering. Once the food is ready, it is placed on a belt that stops at each table for guests to pick up. I found this experience enjoyable. It was also convenient to be able to order different items at different times and keep track of our expenses. The food was delicious, although there wasn't a wide variety of choices. Hopefully, the selection will improve in the future.

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
