After using Yumee for a long time food fine, tonight’s offering was rubbish, tasted just like microwave food, so dry and tasteless, don’t know if it was a one off or what

This used to be such a good take away service and the food was delicate and fresh tasting. Recently the food has been tasteless, stodgy and bland. Yumee has never been a cheap option; in the past it was worth the money but not any more.

Had a great takeaway last night visiting family. After a few bad experiences last year we came back to try it again and the standard has gone back to how we remember when it first opened. Fresh, hot and flavoursome. Friendly staff, happy to take your order. Visualizza piatti

Have experienced a number of Yumee prepared Chinese meals now and will carry on experiencing a lot more in the future. Well prepared, great tasting, good portions, marvellous choice, all done in a courteous and friendly manner. And great value. Try....you will not be disappointed .

The food was awful and made us all feel sick. The chicken balls were greasy with very little chicken and a thick batter. The crispy duck was undercooked and had a strange taste. We only tried this place because it's closer to our house, but we'll be going back to our usual restaurant.

I have visited this restaurant a few times now and each time the service has been excellent. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the owner is very polite and friendly. I highly recommend giving it a try - the chicken curry is great, the chips are freshly cooked, and the sweet and sour chicken is succulent and tasty. Visualizza piatti

We’ve used Yumee a number of times but not for awhile, we were a little apprehensive after some of the reviews but the food was tasty and the service was good. Will use them again , we did have to pay for a delivery charge but there were only 2 of us, finding a menu online was a little tricky, but we’ll pick one up next time we’re in Bideford.

I tried Yumee in Bideford for the first time last night, despite living here since before it opened. Unfortunately, I wish we hadn't bothered. The food was bland, tasteless, and expensive. The Chicken Pineapple dish was insipid in both appearance and taste, the spring rolls were empty burnt pastry tubes, and the sweet and sour chicken balls were mediocre with a thin sauce that was like water. The ribs in sauce had a strong vinegar taste. There are much better Chinese takeaways in the area, and we will not be returning to Yumee.

Everything was over cooked. Peppery king prawns contained a tiny amount of what might have been prawn. I was expecting large succulent prawns in a light batter, I did not get anything remotely like it.. They were chewy not crisp. Awful. Spring rolls which should be light and crisp with a good meat and veg filling were almost empty thick pastry tubes that had been fried too long. Probably ready made frozen ones. The dog enjoyed them though. Noodles and bean sprouts tasted as though the bean sprouts were not fresh, perhaps cooked earlier or tinned. There was a very unpleasant aftertaste. Roast pork over cooked and pieces of pork were hard. Waste of money. Don’t bother. Visualizza piatti
