Zango - Menu

Try the hamburger, yes it's a french-stylistic version but tastes awesome, includes sweet potato fries and don't forget the dessert.

This restaurant is located in Old Lille. It is charming inside and the food was very good. The Vietnamese dish is exceptionally delicious!!

The food was average. Not bad but nothing to get excited about. The dessert was not good. Especially the banana beignets, no taste and chewy like a rubber ball.

This restaurant is located in a street with a bunch of restaurants. A lot of those restaurants were already fully booked and they had a lot of different dishes on the menu, so we chose to dine here. To be honest, it was okay, not special. They have set menus for 24€ for two small mezes and a main dish (and a drink). The food was average, we didnt end up hungry but it was not special or anything. Nice service.

Cycling club trip to Lille to participate in the Paris Roubaix sportive. Franck and the team at Zango coped admirably with us all (22). We were given a super set main course, dessert and drink for a fixed price. The basement dining area was ideal for us and enabled us to kick back and take our time over dinner. Worth booking in advance if you're in a group - Zango was the only restaurant in Lille prepared to/able to deal with so many of us.

We enjoyed our visit. The menu offers quite a wide range of food (away from the traditional dishes of the area) and there is a real buzz inside the restaurant.i had a dish with a Bison steak and my wife had crocodile 3 ways (a curry, samosa and a burger). both were really nice.We ate off the set menu which was €24 for two courses - watch out for those with limited french, we thought the bison/crocodile plates added €2 extra each, it was actually 3. not much i know but we were a bit surprised!we had a good time.

We decided to book for a dinner after we read the unusual menu, just walking by the restaurant: cuisine from all over the world with several unconventional dishes.Very satisfied, and I really mean very satisfied!We had duck and chicken, prepared in a fancy way, sincerely I cannot remember exactly where the recipes were from, both very tasty and well done.The desserts were really good as well, all for a more than reasonable price.The place looks good and, differently from other spots in town, no annoying music ;-) and a relaxing atmosphere.I do recommend it, actually my personal first choice in Lille!

The restaurant have an fun atmosphere and is situated in the nice vieux lille district that offers a lot of restaurants combined in one street; so you have plenty of choice! I think the restaurant is nice while it have that electric menu with its fun atmosphere what i mean with elephants and all. Altough its not the place for a romantic dinner, its was perfect when we ate out with our freinds here in December on a big round table. Prices are set as menu's around 26 euro that is quite on the price. It was good time, but its not the restaurant that you need to see when you are in lile. But hey, when you are around. Why not go here?

Me and my girlfriend found this place via TripAdvisor that had good comments. So I've made an online reservation through their website which they confirmed very fast ! At arrival we've been appointed to our table and then waited at least 20 minutes before somebody came to us with a menu or asking for an aperitief or so.. My girlfriend took as main dish the veggie burger and I ordered a plate with fish & rice. Again we had to wait kinda long (okay Saturday evening but it really wasn't crazy busy ! ) but the veggie burger really wasn't warm enough when it arrived. The plate came with a salad and some kind of chips. We shared it and felt like it didn't was a freshly made burger that was combine...
