"Enjoyed dinner here with 2 colleagues after a long day on our feet at a trade fair. The staff were friendly & welcoming and found us a table, even though the restaurant was busy and we had not booked a table. The place has a bohemian but cosy feel about it and veggie food is well represented on the menu. We started with an anti-pasti plate and some beers. For main, I enjoyed the Schwab Maultaschen and my colleagues had the krauterquark and the Fish. We washed this down with a modestly priced bottle of Bordeaux. Delicious."

Wonderful food! Not only for cheese and ham lovers. Small, but lovely,full with posters of art exhibitions.

We visited Zicke upon a recommendation of a local friend and we were not disappointed. The place has great decor, good ambience and a bohemian atmosphere. Great place to chill.

This is such a great find. A lovely atmosphere, thoughtful service staff and really delicious food and wines! It's a relaxed, chill spot, so go, get a bottle and talk the night away....

We called in here twice on our recent trip to Dusseldorf, the first time for brunch and the second for breakfast, both times we found the staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful . Lovely quaint and popular little bistro with excellent food and a lovely ambience.

One of my favourite cafés in Düsseldorf. Close to the river, when you enter the place you almost breathe the fascination of old Parisians literary cafés. The food and drinks are good and fresh. The only downside it´s that the café is well established thus often full.

Nothing Special but everything tasty. The brunch is good with mainly cheese, vegetable yogurt, sausages, eggs. I like the "Breakfast for 2" which is a really good value for the Price Close to the Rhein. I also like to come in the afternoon to drink a tea the place is cosy.

Had Sunday brunch with three small kids, got there right at 9 and by 9:30 it was full, so go early! We shared the Zicke breakfast--a full European breakfast feast! It would probably feed 3 adults. Our son had fried eggs and potatoes and the girls shared the sweet breakfast--everyone had more than enough food. Coffee was hot and delicious too. Will be back!
