Zizzi - Menu

I'm sorry, I am unable to leave a review because the restaurant was not accepting walk-ins, even though it was only a quarter full. It is recommended to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

I had lunch here with a friend while shopping in Cheltenham. We both loved the pumpkin ravioli, it was delicious! The truffle fries were also excellent. The service was good and I would definitely recommend this place. It's a shame they only accept card payments.

My experience was as a take out. My food was waiting for me and I was 15 min early. Two pizzas ‘ rustics ’ and very small one spaghetti bolognese and a large chips. All the food was cold, the large chips weighed 100g only!! Very poor wouldn’t go back, I should state that I collected and this for £50 Keith Coghill

A group of 11 of us visited Zizzi. we were all very happy with the food and evening apart from a few hitches. One being my pizza which was just about Luke warm (the waiter had no problem sending it back and a fresh/hot one came back to me quickly) and the other is you can't pay using cash. Apart from the minor points, we would all be happy to return!

Our starter didn't arrive with the others. Some people's drinks were forgotten. Worst through was the salmon risotto I ordered. There was virtually no salmon in it but it was almost completely prawns at least 8 whole ones. As someone allergic to seafood this made it uneatable. The waiter was blamed by the management but i don't think it was his fault.

We went to Zizis for a birthday celebration, we had a range of meals, all very well cooked and the waitress was very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely surrounding in an old church. You can see the meals being cooked. all the meals came out on time and at the same time. Well worth the visit for the quality and standard of the meals. The only drawback was the cost of the meal which I thought were on the expensive side.

Ridiculously hot inside. No Aircon. Very uncomfortable due to temperature. Made it so none of us wanted to stay for desserts. Also, tried to use Tesco clubcard vouchers to pay part of the bill, but told could not as there were more than six of us. Appeared to take great pleasure in telling us we could not use them. Only went there as we had the vouchers and there doesn 't seem to be any logical reason why they could not be used. 'its in the small print ' the waitress said with glee in her voice. We will go back to a Zizzi 's, but not this one and only to use the vouchers and then never go to any of their restaurants ever again. Food ok, nothing special. Rather bland. Honestly gob smacked at the way the waitress addressed and spoke to me. My partner ordered a meal asking for an ingredient to be left out … they said this was no problem. We then wait around 20 minutes for our food, and the waitress comes back and says they couldn’t leave it out; but try it anyway… My partner of course doesn’t like it, sends it back and asks for a simple Margherita instead. This then takes another 20 minutes to arrive, by then I had already finished. The whole point of dining out is you get to eat with your company. I explained this to the waitress when she brought the bill charging us £15.90… FOR BREAD, TOMATO and CHEESE!! Whereby, she completely grilled me and almost spoke...

We came here for a Father 's Day lunch. No draft beers but the bottled beers we had were lovely and cold. The building is stunning a beautiful old church which was what inspired us to book here in the first place. The staff were very attentive and really friendly, and the food was lovely. We were delivered an extra dessert by accident and rather than let it go to waste, we were given it for free. We really did have a lovely time, but what marred it was the fact they they take payment by card only which for us is a huge no no. £125 for the final bill and a £10 tip was on the little plate but it was refused because we only take cards oh, but we take tips in cash .
