Saturday lunch excellent burgers fish chips for us, served by a very nice young man. Asked music volume to be lowered a little (probably left high from previous night) and obliged with no fuss. Chef's area is visible and all staff appeared to be in good mood; happy to be working there.

I've been here twice, so I felt like I left a review. the venue is tastefully decorated and the beer is good. price is equal to other Bristol pubs, I let them decide whether they think that is worth money! eating is not too bad, but its very aligned on chips, fried foods and so on. not many sweet, certainly not on the dress that I had (scampi and chips do not come with any side pleasure that surprises me total worth visiting, and I would be more than happy to go back.

More like 3 stars for the food and 5 stars for the service. The staff there are attentive and fun, impeccably trained and were lovely. The food, my partner had the beyond meat burger which she rated but the roast for me was seriously below par. Either go for quantity or quality for the £15 price not neither, portion was small and average. Gravy was cut out of a packet one of the disadvantages of having an open kitchen) and had no flavour, meat was okay. Roast potatoes were dry and hard, greens had no flavour and were over cooked, parsnips tasted like floral candle wax. The only saving grace was the carrots which were perfectly cooked.
