"In the north of the Green City, the bed castle rises in the Alban Stolz street, a social building sin of the 1970s, which is slowly converted into residential property. The ring-shaped plant for a few thousand inhabitants is only a small infrastructure a doctor, a café, a döner (with everything, with sharp... and finally a grocery store pluck up the life-feind Architecture. And of course Beppos Etna's goal of our Mediterranean longing... Whether the similarity between the Sicilian volcano and the settlement that has already been reminded of a crater rim is likely to remain its secret. The place is in the direction of the road in the BelEtage, so it is the first time to climb the stairs. To this end it goes back (i.e. to the volcanic **** flatters in the green and now with rustic trees with an outdoor terrace. The restaurant itself is divided by an aquarium into two rooms and furnished accordingly. It no longer needs to attract loyal guests. Beppo and his family are in the best Italian hospitality and offer good grounded cuisine that every guest likes to come back. From the inhabitant of the overtaking social living space to the currently successful Freiburg football professional, Green City does not want to hurt the honour here even red-carded tablecloths. The approximately twenty tables are well charged every day, you will also be parked at the bar for a short time. Pizza, pasta and pesce, but also steaks of pig and beef are refined Mediterranean and cured at moderate prices. The wine map is clear, fairly calculated and offers an acceptable cross-section of the Italian grape varieties. The beer comes from the prince, but is always freshly tapped. Thus Etna has made a name far beyond the social-building crater in Zähringen. And unlike Sicily, only the pizza oven smokes here..."

"Ich war wd zu Besuch bei meiner Schwester im Schwarzwald , in der Nähe von Freiburg .. sie brachte mich wd zu ihrem Lieblingsrestaurant , was mir gleich beim ersten Mal schon sehr gefiel . Rustikal und sehr gemütlich , läd es zum längeren Aufenthalt ein , egal , ob der Gast nur etwas trinkt oder ausgiebig essen möchte , seien es Suppen , Salate , Gerichte der Region , Gerichte der Saison ...wir haben schon Alles ausprobiert.: Rösti in allen Variationen , Suppen , ..mir schmeckte ( bei meinem jetzigen Besuch ) besonders gut mein Salat mit geräucherter Forelleund , folgende Gerichte in diesem Auszug der Karte , die wir schon Alle ausprobierten : Bombay Hähnchenb. "I have to admit, I am not a huge schnitzel-fan, but I often find myself craving Zum Ochsen's perfectly breaded, and paper thin golden steak. They usually have a couple of other options that your server will list to you once you are seated. You...can usually find seasonal food and game (the dear sausage is great). The portions are massive, so be sure to bring an appetite or order the smaller portion. The schnitzel dish comes with three huge pieces plus whatever side you choose. WARNING: if you decide to share it, they will charge you for the extra plate. Good local wine selection and delicious dessert (I recommend the medley). Best show up with a reservation, though!"

"Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen im Rößle, ich habe die Schlachtplatte genommen und die Vorfreude war groß, man hat ja so seine Vorstellungen aus Erfahrung wie eine Schlachtplatte aussieht...meine Frau hatte die Ländchen mit Gemüse und Spätzle. Das Essen kam auch ziemlich schnell, und was soll ich sagen, die Ernüchterung auch...Schlachtplatte hieß es, ein Tellergericht bekam ich. Ein kleines Häufchen Sauerkraut, darüber drapiert eine Blutwurst und eine Leberwurst, und ein Stück angebraten es Fleisch was Kesselfleisch sein sollte. Das Kesselfleisch war ein trockenes Kotelett ähnliches Stück Fleisch, wirklich trocken, die Blutwurst hatte leider sehr wenig Geschmack, es fehlen an den typischen Gewürzen, die Leberwurst war ganz gut. Das wenig Sauerkraut war gut, und das Beilagepüree war auch sehr übersichtlich aber geschmacklich gut. Alles in allem nichts zu tun mit einer Schlachtplatte! Und es war Hoch angepriesene Schlachtplatte Woche. Das Ländchen meiner Frau war allenfalls ok, das gemüse wässriger Geschmack, leider nicht abgeschmeckt, spätzle aus der Packung. Preis-Leistung hier komplett daneben. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, nur würden wir nicht gefragt ob es geschmeckt hat, hätten sonnst gerne was dazu gesagt. Wir waren enttäuscht."
