"In the Ölkänla there are two beautiful things: on the one hand, the ambience: who has a heart for vintage cars, the restaurant on the old grounds (a former farm, converted into the workshop park) already enjoys because of the surroundings and the facilities. There are many cars standing around, the card is in an oil can, in the room an old pump column and many loving little things more. The other beauty but is the food: here is really delicious cooked. A fine Asian turkey shell or a really good steak stand on the normal card, with changing dishes from the table. My tip: the old oil that looks the same and is brewed extra for the oil vat. Gastronomy with attention to detail and good food. Five stars and actually a heart because we always like to go. Price situation: slightly raised, but all right!"

"Unfortunately, the room wasn't so great. it was just a heating that was hardly possible to adjust the water. Once they have only erected a minimum of cold water, the whole water was cold, but without cold water it was brewed. the specified tw only had to offer ard and zdf. the toilet was outside our room and the whole gasthof was very cold. the device should also be taken into account and some constructive measures would be recommended. I can't recommend it."

"Aufgrund des guten Wetters konnte man heute draußen oder im Lokal sitzen. Wir entschieden uns dennoch für drin, da es Abend doch wieder kälter werden sollte. Dort waren auch schon einige Tische belegt. Wir wurden an einen nicht eingedeckten Tisch gesetzt, der dann noch ab geputzt werden musste. Der Service war freundlich. Als Aperitif nahmen wir den Limonicello Spritz. Er schmeckte gut. Als Tagesempfehlung gab es u.a. Pizza Stella mit Rinder Carpaccio, scharfer Salami und Buratta. Die war wirklich gut. Also, falls sie im Angebot ist, ist sie auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Zum Dessert hatten wir Tiramisu. Auch das war geschmacklich gut, nur aufgrund des Schichtens in einem bauchigen Glas, hatte der Cremeanteil einen leichten Überhang. Bei dem Essen waren wir von der sehr guten Pizza in optischer Weise und Geschmack – freudig überrascht."

"Wollte hier schon sehr lange mal hinkommen, war dann aber doch enttäuscht. Essen war jetzt nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonderes wo es sich lohnen würde herzukommen. Preise waren dafür doch recht hoch. Haben 19€ für die Bruchettas gezahlt wobei die meisten ne einfache Streichcreme drauf hatten und nach recht wenig geschmeckt haben. Sehr gute Lage mitten in der Fußgängerzone."

"Sehr freundlicher Wirt! Serviert wird schmackhafte kroatische sowie internationale Küche. Es kocht die Gattin des Wirts. Preis/Leistung ist gut und es gibt ordentliche Portionen. Das Ambiente ist rustikal und einfach. Die Parkplatzsituation könnte jedoch besser sein, d.h. man muss im Umfeld des Lokals sein Parkglück versuchen, was etwas anstrengend sein kann. Insgesamt ist das „Opatija“ sehr zu empfehlen."

"We had lunch here after going up to Altenburg with our friends. The 5 of us, one 6 year old, had lunch here, in the cool shaded garden, where we enjoyed our German lunch and beers. The Leicht Raucherbier had a very slight smoky smell and not very smokey, so if you don't like the regular one, this might be one to try. I actually prefer the darker stronger one. The Radler had a nice lemonade taste to it, more so than some others I have had. The potato salad I had was the typical German one with vinegar not mayo, which I prefer, but it was lacking in some tartness, perhaps needed more vinegar. The curry sauce, I had the Curry Wurst, was delicious! Not really sweet and just a good flavor with a crunchy wurst, cooked just right and shaped into a horseshoe. The Applesauce that came with the Potato Baggers, that one of our friends ordered, was not sweet and tasted excellent! The baggers weren't greasy and tasted just right to the friend that had them, while his son really enjoyed them and the fries. one of our friends wanted to buy a ceramic beer stein, and had gone shopping the day before, finding just a couple in the inner city for 6-9 euros, which was ok, but the steins were not that interesting. Funny enough, he found two for 6 and 7 Euros, and they were the ones sold here. He bought the cheaper one, b/c he liked the smooth texture and the design was simpler. Good service here even without the English menus. A great place to just sit around, drink a beer, eat some food and relax. Not a lot of tourists here, which is nice."

"A healthy hike up several hills to get you to the top, overlooking the spires of Bamberg. Only outdoor seating in a camp like atmosphere with stringy lights and loud music. Food is typical German fare. We all ordered the chicken which was only so-so. Rauchbier was excellent. Service was slow, as you have to flag down the waitresses as they fly by. A real experience, not to be missed."

"Da wir ausgesprochene Türkei-Fans sind und wir dort schon zwei Jahre keinen Urlaub machen konnten, wollten wir zumindest einmal Türkisch essen gehen. Wir ahnten schon, dass es sehr gut sein wird, da wir erst beim dritten Anlauf mit Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen haben. Genau dieses hat sich auch bestätigt. Die Bedienung war sehr höflich, kompetent und aufmerksam. Schon beim Vorspeisenteller waren wir optisch, wie geschmacklich begeistert. Bei der Hauptspeise (Gemischter Grillteller für zwei) wurde noch einer draufgesetzt. Es war sehr viel Fleisch, in Qualität, Geschmack und Zubereitung außergewöhnlich gut. Krönender Abschluss der Nachtisch: Künefe mit Vanille-Eis. Alles in Allem war es ein wundervolles Erlebnis und wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf den nächsten Besuch im Efendi."

"the food has earned 5 stars in every case! incredibly tasty and beautifully dressed! ambiente very cozy, with love for detail also according to our taste. "Tastefully decorated cafe, but definitely overloaded. You always have to be on the hat nothing to tear around or to bump nowhere. Operation is very nice and professional, but I think it better to pay equal after placing the order instead of having to hire a second time. In my opinion, the prices for the cake are too expensive, even if it tasted us well. All in all a good cafe, but I can't understand the hype around the piece of sugar."

"A (very) small restaurant, dinner at Piccola Roma may end up being a regular event for us. The customer service was very good, our waiter seemed to just love his job. The timing of the meal was perfect, and the food, insanely good. The calf...I had could have been cut with a spoon. Salad, very fresh, and when I asked for a different dressing, not a problem at all. PR is also where we order our pizza from. I don´t even normally like pizza, but theirs is very good! Prices are fair. It´s not cheap, but not expensive either. And for the quality of the food and service...very very fair. It´s super small, as mentioned, maybe 8 tables? So make a reservation."

"the atmosphere in the ckerts is simply unbeatable: unique location withtem in the river, pleasant furnishings, tasteful ambiente, beautiful presentation of the foods. Unfortunately, the opposite is the content: the foods are often little, do not really taste and are nothing extraordinary - as you would suspect in the ambiente and the price. "My husband and daughter and I wound up here because the Vietnamese restaurant we wanted to eat at wasn't open yet and we were pressed for time. What a happy accident! It was fully booked at 7:00, but at 5:30 we were given a table. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. Unusual for me, I ordered a pizza, and it was unequivocally the best pizza I have ever eaten! The spicy vegetarian, it had a super-thin almost cracker-like crust, topped with veggies, pizza, and a surprisingly spicy hot sauce (nice in Germany!). Our daughter had a seafood trio she enjoyed every bite of, and my husband liked his octopus. Dessert was a beautifully presented pear cheesecake. We thought the prices were reasonable for all the food and drink we had, and because we were all so happy with our meal. We have been living near Bamberg for 9 years and regret we didn't try Little Italy sooner. We will definitely be back."
