Very attentive, constantly asking if everything is okay and a champagne on the house for birthday. That's exactly how I imagine a nice breakfast that then, because of the feel-good factor and the great service lasted until 13.00. Very happy next time again"

"We always like to go there. For birthdays or just so in between. There has never been a reason to object. The entire staff and also the boss personally are always nice and accommodating. You can only praise food. Super value for money. High quality and mega large portions! As an appetizer we usually take the sheep cheese. The best I've ever eaten. And in my opinion, the Gyros is the best far and wide. The ambience is also true. Typically Greek, but not overloaded as is often the case in other places. Conclusion: no more Greek than Sirtaki"

"we were on a day off for breakfast in the hofcafé. Unfortunately you have not many possibilities to look for a beautiful place, as many tables were reserved.The breakfast is good, plentiful and tasty. unfortunately, the tellers do not always correspond to what is on the map. so too little rolls are brought, extra rolls are calculated for this.Atmosphere is very loud in the interior. in the inlet area is partly tightly pressed. for us mediocre, but still worth a visit. we recommend booking with several people."

"Es ist eine echt urige, tolle rustikale Atmosphäre im Restaurant. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und hat immer wieder nachgefragt, ob es etwas sein darf. Wir hatten die Fränkische Platte für 2 Personen. Mehr Sauce gibt es auf Nachfrage gratis hinterher. Sauerkraut haben wir auch noch nachbestellt für unter 3 Euro. Alles in Allem sehr gutes Essen . Das Schäufala war mega zart . Die Haxe war nicht superfrisch und minimal trocken, aber sehr gut. Natürlich ist es schwer, immer punktgenau genug Haxen vorzugaren. Wir würden wieder hier essen. "Uns wurde ein Platz zugewiesen, welchen wir nach 5 Minuten wieder verlassen mussten, da „Die Putzfrau nicht extra wegen einem Tisch die andere Hälfte des Raumes putzen muss“ Zitat der Kellnerin… der Platzwechsel war unangenehm und als erster Eindruck für das Restaurant nicht einladend. Zu trinken haben wir uns eine Minz- und eine Himbeer Limonade bestellt. Die Minz Limonade bestand leider nur aus Wasser und einem Pfefferminzblatt (Preis: 6€ . Die Himbeer Limonade schmeckte wie Wasser mit Himbeersirup aus dem Supermarkt (Preis 6€ . Leider konnten uns die Getränke nicht überzeugen, sodass wir noch eine große Flasche stilles Wasser zusätzlich bestellt hatten. Das Wasser kam in einer offenen Flasche ohne Etikett und war nichts besseres als Leitungswasser.. (Preis 6€ . Bei der Bestellung der Pizzen war die Bedienung sehr nett und ist auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Wir hatten eine Pizza Salami (so nicht auf der Speisekarte und eine Pizza wilde Kuh. Beide Pizzen haben uns persönlich nicht geschmeckt. Der Teig war etwas versalzen, das Pesto bei der Pizza wilde Kuh schmeckte nicht frisch zubereitet. Die Pizzen kamen schon kalt bei uns an und haben, so wie die Getränke auch, nicht überzeugen können. Sehr Schade!"

"Furchtbarer Kellner! Nachdem mein Freund den Kellner gefragt hat ob er sein Essen was er nicht aufessen konnte einpacken kann, schreite der Kellner beim zurück laufen „Du Weichei“!! Sodass die Gäste die bei uns in der Nähe waren es auch hörten. Einfach nur unverschämt und nicht witzig. Bei der Bezahlung hat er die Karte aus meiner Hand gerissen, dann hat der auf den Namen geschaut und sagt gleich zu meinem Freund : „dafür siehst du zu deutsch aus der Nachname passt nicht“ was geht dich das überhaupt an? Wäre es andersrum gewesen, hieß es sofort rassistische Beleidigung aber bei Deutschen erlaubt man sich wahrscheinlich alles…! Am Ende hat er nur noch private Fragen gestellt was sehr unangenehm war. NIE WIEDER. Eine Portion Sushi wurde vergessen und als wir es angesprochen haben, kam nicht mal eine Entschuldigung. Sushi war mit Abstand das schlechteste in Bamberg…"

"we were at a day in the brewhouse and I can't understand the reviews here. you wait at the entrance almost ten minutes until someone lets you enter. corona to leave the guests standing in the cold and during this stands personal smoking in the corner. the dining room typical Franconian brewery gasthof. a little loud, but Franconian cosy furnishings. the operation shall be charged. the housebread is excellent and the only reason why there are two stars. eating was absolutely unworthy of this locality. a potato soup that resembles a to liquid potato soup rather than a Franconian soup. tastefully there is still much air up. then a pork carving “as always type” with potato salad, the addition salad must be ordered and paid extra. this court is the classic. but now for a carving, here I expect a freshly prepared carving, which is fried in butterschmalz at such a local place and not too dark fried tk. the potato salad is homemade, but what sugar has lost in it? no salt, no pfeffer. this makes a cook apprentice much better in the 2nd year in the vocational school. so overall, that was nix set six!"

"with 6 persons preordered. a little bit close to the stool, if you want to get through properly with appetizer etc. but extremely attentive service, very friendly and unusually helpful and advice on menu selection, with food incompatibility. 3x with the kitchen has successfully tried for a solution. you do not often experience, even in restaurants of high class! great lob! a chef who leads very discreet but top in his shop, in which the bear taps from 19:30. a lot of young people. so. the food itself was not extraordinary. typical mexican, with some convinia products (onionrings, parates, mozarellasticks etc.) but certainly not to solve differently for the favorable trips. Conclusion: many young people, eat to appropriate trips, with exceptionally attentive and friendly service."

"eating my wife was tasty and enough paneer with spinat.) my chicken tandori was served in a hot pan on alu film (easily rinsed), the chicken came from the spits, sweet crisp, soned quite neutral. the brot was perfect, the lens soup was very good. the service was quite sweet, at least from the Indian colleagues. a smile should be in every language, and I also expect that this be cute after the appetizer to be changed. at least it should be relocated when it was cleared with the appetizer. the restaurant is beautifully made (apart from a nasty stolper edge at the entrance,) but I came to eat and not to see. next time I go to the zafran."

"Sat down here after touring the Dom and museums around it, so was really hungry. The location was good, out of the crowd walking down from the Dom, under umbrellas to shade from the warm sunny weather. The table cloth and firm cushions matched and were brightly red and white, the Fachwerk houses around you, and the Dom bells above gave a cozy feel to the place. The prices are higher for the food than at other restaurants in the Alt Stadt. My spouse had the Keller Beer, house beer, which he liked but it was too bitter for me. I had the Apple juice with sparkling water, I rec the large size, my drink was more than I have paid at other places but tasted good. The menu is not very expansive, with littel choice for those who aren't into red meat and almost none for those into vegetarian meals. I ordered the Gemischter Bratwurst mit Bamberg Bratwurst Spezialitaten, which I discovered that I didn't really like the Bratwurst spices that it had tho I like Wurst usually in Germany. The sauerkraut was delicious! and the Bratkartoffeln was also good, plenty of it. My spouse had the Original Bamberger Bierzwiebel aus dem Schmortopf, which was basically ground beef in an onion package, which he thot was ok, but wouldn't have again, with good mashed potatoes and really good sauce on the meat. A bit pricier than other places, and nothing special other than the location which was nice and pleasant. Can't really recommend it for a meal, but for a beer, it would be a nice place to sit."

"We had pizzas in Casa Italia (in the evening) on the day we arrived in Bamberg. We were the only clients in the restaurant at about c'clock in the evening. The pizzas were ok once we got them but we were a...bit surprised that it took such a long time since there didn't seem to be any take-away-rush either... The next day we wanted to have a late espresso and grappa since we had dinner in another restaurant earlier. We thought that Casa Italia would be a place offering us what we wanted, but we were wrong. Our late' was at about pm and at that time we were told (in a restaurant that claims it closes at pm) that they had already cleaned their coffee machine, so grappa would be ok, but no espresso until next morning. Casa Italia is also a hotel, so probably their first interest is to serve the clients of the hotel. Never again neither pizza nor booking a room."

"Just Ok. Can't say that I will come back here. There is no view, unlike the Speziel Keller, and the menu is small. So if you are a vegetarian, there is one plate of cheese with pieces of bread, and then some bread or...pretzels with pickles. Otherwise, it is meat oriented, and as it is now warm spring/summer, there is more of a Brotzeit, rather than a dinner menu. Lots of different beers, tho I wasn't thrilled with their Radler. My cheese plate was slices of swiss, pieces of Camembert, pieces of rye bread, butter, a pickle, quark, and a herb cheese spread. There was a plate of long bratwursts and sauerkraut, but the sauerkraut wasn't that great. Overall, not a great experience. Service was pleasant, however."

"if a burger restaurant earned from heart 5 stars then the zapfhahn. the ambiente is harmonious and the outside area invites you to stay. the staff is very friendly and attentive. the selection of burger is rather small but thus excellently prepared. the burgerbrötchen are made by a bakery itself and the sauces for the pommes taste mega. the zapfhahn has over 40 sorts of regional beer. it is a coherent concept and the price-performance ratio fits."

"Ich WAR bis heute Jahrelanger Kunde! Heute habe ich die zweite negativ Erfahrung, in diesem Geschäft erlebt. Das erste mal wurde ich nach 20min anstehen nachhause geschickt, da die nette Dame 10min. vor Ladenschluss kein Sandwich mehr belegen konnte. (Es waren noch 5 Kunden nach mir in der Warteschlange) Okay, ich verstehe es seinen Feierabend pünktlich machen zu wollen. Allerdings hätte man einfach in den 20min sagen können „Lieber Kunde wir schließen demnächst, sie brauchen sich nicht mehr anzustellen.“ Das einzigste was kam, nachdem ich dem Laden betreten habe „Wir haben jetzt zu“. Zur Erinnerung,10 min vor Ladenschluss. Jeder kann mal einen schlechten Tag haben und dafür habe ich auch Verständnis. Deswegen hatte ich hier auch keine Rezession platziert. Heute, bediente mich ich eine Dame die leider nicht viel deutsch konnte. Okay, ich habe Respekt davor und jeder Anfang ist schwer. Ich habe mich bemüht extra langsam und ohne Dialekt meine 3 Sub‘s zu bestellen. Ich habe ihr vorgeschlagen, Sie sollte doch bitte einen nach den anderen belegen, da es aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Belegung sonst schwierig wird. Nachdem schon zwei vollkommen falsch belegt wurden, habe ich versucht ihr es noch einmal zu erklären, auch hier wurde es leider nichts. Sie fragte mich auf englisch was ich haben möchte. Auch in dieser Sprache habe ich versucht es ihr zu erklären. Die deutsche Kollegin hat sich kurz eingemischt und hat sich dann ebenfalls nicht mehr für mich interessiert. Ich habe also 23€ für drei Sub’s bezahlt, wo kein einzigster nach meinen Wünschen belegt wurde. Kundenzufriedenheit geht definitiv anders! Nachdem sich der Inhaber aber sowieso auf keine Rezession meldet, da es ihm vermutlich egal ist, wird meine Rezession genauso nutzlos sein wie den Kunden zu fragen was er gerne auf seinen Sandwich hätte. Schade!"

"were there with seven people (four adults and three children) at midday and had our table in the back area before the bar. it pulled enormously, although we did not sit at the door. the drinks were quickly brought by the nice operation. the food was ready after a short time. now: the hamburger was delicious, but for the price simply too little (quality and quantity.) the worst was my grilled feta. the peperoni were made of glass and were laid as they are in there under the grilled feta. when you cut it on, the whole water-ethyl acetate runs out and mixes with the rest of the feta. not very delicious. Please look at this with a good smell. As it is there in the evening, I cannot judge. for lunch there are better alternatives."

"Wir sind am Tag der Ankunft erschöpft kurz zur Altstadt geschlendert. Die Brasserie machte uns neugierig. An einem Montagabend wars recht voll, aber ging zum Glück noch ohne Reservierung. Personal war freundlich und zügig. Essen war wunderbar und für uns zwei zu grosse Portionen. Wir sind nicht so die Vielesser und haben statt je zwei nur je ein Knödel genommen. Da wo wir sassen war es verhältnismässig ruhig (draussen). Können das Restaurant weiterempfehlen."

"we went with my son of 10 years old to eat traditional German food I ordered pork shoulder with the local beer mixed next to a carrot ball and my son a carving with sprit. service was average in English communication and polite, but...fast and effective. table was dirty. pork and beer were 8.5/10 of the lateral kartoffel ball 7, the carving was served with salat and baked kartoffels. schnitzel was very dry, salad was dreadfully served with a finished sauce. 4/10 the glass that the sprit was served was the odour beer. we didn't get a receipt when we pay cash (34€). ps i ordered a meat soup for taking, they had no plastic food container for taking and they put it in a clean food box of a heavy sauce. suppe was ok 7/10. in short: there are dozens of better decisions to believe me. 7 atmosphere 7 clean/hygiene:6 Food:6,5 Total experience:BAD"
