"My partner laughs at me when we go to restaurants. Why? Working with many independent businesses I help business owners improve their marketing and customers experience. In restaurants there are usually a hundred and one things that could be improved. The service is usually slow, inaccurate, or over friendly, in your face intrusive. Our meals are often spent with me analysing and discussing the customer service and business strategies they're using, and what would work better for them. From the moment I walked in to Spizzico's I was pleasantly surprised, lovely decor. Fresh flowers at the bar. Friendly greeting from the staff. Great selection on the menu, I chose a sourdough pizza margarita with ham. It was delicious, thin and crispy. Yum! Lewis choose a causes and chips (home made and if loved it, especially the crispy fresh salad inside). Service was no less than brilliant, friendly efficient prompt! The owner came to say hello, was warm welcoming but not overwhelming. He clearly takes pride in running an excellent restaurant. I've experienced much worse service in the Savoy. The prices here? For the quality of food super reasonable and excellent value for money! I found myself expressing my delight at the great service and brilliant little restaurant my partner discovered! This is an extremely rare occurrence for me! We'll definitely be back when we're in or around Barnet."

"DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Terrible service from beginning to end. We got there and literally had to sit ourselves down. We literally had to get their attention to even order drinks and seeing the couple who came in after us who got served straight away. The food was nice but the service was slow and we literally felt invisible. We asked for forks and didnt get any even after the food came, had to go up myself to get the forks. And finally when it came to paying the bill, let's say it got a bit out of hand where they literally called the police. My friend didn't like the taste of the Sechuan noodles, and instead of the lady being apologetic, when my friend asked if she can choose something else on the menu the lady's face dropped and asked her Like what ...erm how about you give her a menu and a chance so she can choose. Anyways my friend didnt end up picking anything in the end because of the ladies attitude, and instead of the staff letting us know that we still had to pay for the sechuan noodle dish they took the dish and threw it in the bin, not even giving us an option to take it away. Worst service ever. I dont care if your a small business or a family run business it doesnt mean you lose your customer service skills. They got defensive and raised their voices as soon as we said we wasnt paying for the noodles and It escalated from there (to the point where they put the shutters down thinking we were going to leave without paying. I mean that is definitely illegal, keeping in mind I'm pregnant and we had a old baby with us). I even left a review on Google and their response was just sickening. Their defense was that they were not able to re-sell the noodles. I mean who in their right frame of mind would even think about giving food they've just given to a customer to another customer. It's absolute madness! They gave two comments saying the police came after we left and after we left (I mean which one was it) after they told us they were going to be an hour. We didnt want to sit there for an hour especially how bad it all escalated, so we was forced to pay. They say they have it all on CCTV, ok that's great that means you have on camera when they tried to keep us hostage. Never have I ever experienced anything so horrible. I am not one to leave bad reviews but this experience i just couldnt let it go. They were not apologetic at all and were adamant in getting the last word in. THE most horrible experience we have ever encountered, never going there again...with an emphasis on NEVER."
