"Came here for drinks on a Wednesday evening and it was pretty busy! I love the industrial design of the place and the vibe it has. Maybe time to get a live band going there once in a while. It would be awesome! So many options for cocktails and other long drinks but beer on tap is pretty limited to 1-2 options. Make sure you book a table if you are a group of more than 4.. Parking around is tricky"

"Von aussen eher unscheinbar, wurden wir innen positiv überrascht: weisse Tischdecken, vielfältige Speisekarte, auch Wildgerichte, WCs sehr sauber. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es, weil die ansonsten freundliche Bedienung andauernd zum Rauchen vor die Türe verschwunden ist, obwohl das Lokal für einen Sonntag Abend und trotz Corona gut besucht war und alle deshalb warten mussten."

"Feine Snacks und richtig gutes Bier! Wir haben uns fast durch die gesamte Bierkarte durchprobiert und waren sehr zufrieden. Aprikosensauerbier ist göttlich. Ist aber natürlich auch eine Geschmackssache. Auch dunklere Biersorten wärmstens zu empfehlen. Die kalten Platten und Pulled Prok Burger sind gut abgestimmt und schmecken sehr gut. Die Atmosphäre lädt zum Verweilen ein und das Servicepersonal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Preis Leistung stimmt absolut. Wir waren auch mal an einer Brauereiführung in Volta Bräu, fanden diese sehr informativ und hatten Spass am Ausprobieren. Für einen gemütlichen Abend mit Freunden lohnt es sich dieses Lokal zu besuchen."

"The service was acceptable, but the food was extremely dissapointing. I recommend going to any other Italian restaurant in Basel. The carbonara was swimming in oil and the egg was cooked. It was more of an omelette with oil and some pasta. Terrible, for the sake of your Swiss experience, avoid eating here. If an Italian restaurant can't make a good carbonara, what can you expect. Even after telling the waiter about the issue, no compensation was even offered. Very dissapointing. Avoid at all costs"

"Excellent food, service and ambience. We had 6 course fixed menu on Saturday night. I loved the element of surprise as the menu was fixed and every course was a surprise. All the courses were delicious and well balanced in flavour. I particularly liked truffle pasta and veal steak course. The wine recommendation was also very nice. Service was very attentive and pleasant. The price is very attractive for such a large and various meal. We loved it! Highly recommended!"

"I am Vietnamese and this is the most authentic pho I had in the Swiss. I have tried many other places and none of them comes close. the broth is rich and tasteful, portion are generous, staff is extremely friendly and beautiful. The natives like the western pho at knock on wood, but the true asiates should go to happy wok for authentic experience. the Swiss is such a sad place for Vietnamese cuisine and after living in vietnam and south Kali I was very disappointed by the options here, but happy wok had restored my belief that a large chef in the Swiss end."

"Das Ambiente stimmt, die Einrichtung ist sehr urban und stimmig. Das Essen ist qualitativ hochwertig und sehr gut! Jedoch hat das Personal nicht überzeugt. Es wurden die falschen Getränke serviert. Ausserdem finde ich, dass das personal bei so einer abenteuerlichen Karte die Zutaten und Speisen kennen sollte. Dies war nich der Fall. Alles in allem trotzdem ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant."

"I held a small event (20 people) at L’Atelier Basel. Ms. Kleiber responded to all of my requests and the whole organization ran smoothly. I would like to thank Moana Kleiber and her team again for the great service. The restaurant is very nice and tastefully decorated. We were able to enjoy the event in the lower area in a cozy atmosphere. The poke bowls were super tasty, there was something to suit every taste. A top price-performance ratio. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back!"

"seeing all the positive comments on trip advisor about this restaurant, my companion and I decide to go to dinner with a friend, our Italian canteen being closed for the holidays. Unfortunately, we are on a service of a polar cold. When we decide not to enter, we immediately feel contempt in the server's voice. I didn't dream, we were 3 feeling it. Then, when I ask for water, he doesn't bother to know if it's only for me or for the whole table and brings back a small bottle and a single glass. "Cafe Streuli is located at the end of Tram line #15/16 Bruderholz. There are walking trails and a park nearby. This cafe with friendly staff is here to take care of all your needs. There is a great selection of fresh breads, pastries, cakes, chocolates, sweets/snacks and more. There are no milk substitute products on the menu. Everything looked mouth-watering good. I opted for the plum dessert, which was a nice serving size and a cup of tea. The place does a very good take out business. There is a postal drop service, clean restrooms, newspapers, magazines. and more that await you here at this lovely place"

"Vor dem Umbau waren wir regelmässige Gäste im Damatti. Mal zwei Panini über Mittag, ein anderes Mal zwei Latte Freddo mit Kult Backwaren zum Znüni oder zwei Lemonade von J. Gasco draussen beim Brunnen.Seit dem Umbau gibt 's leider eine andere, viel saurere Limonade (die sich möglicherweise besser zum Mixen von Drinks eignet? damit könnte ich noch leben. Aber unser heutiger Besuch war eine Zumutung. Wir bestellten zwei Latte Freddo ; die junge Dame fragte mehrmals nach, was wir denn damit meinten (ist so auf der Getränkekarte . Als mein Begleiter fragte, ob er ein Panini essen könnte (die es früher den ganzen Tag gab , meinte die Dame schnippisch: die Küche ist nur bis 12.30 offen (es war 13.45 . Die Krönung des Ganzen waren zwei Gläser gefüllt mit einer lauwarmen Flüssigkeit, ohne Eiswürfel, dafür mit Wasser gestreckt und mit einem Geschmack wie Abwaschwasser. Wir haben sie stehen lassen, beim Ausgang bezahlt und sind gegangen. Wir werden es an einem anderen Tag nochmals versuchen, aber wenn die Leistung so bleibt, werden wir das Damatti von unserer Liste der klein aber fein Lokale streichen müssen. Che peccato!"

"We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant and really savored the tasty food. Unfortunately, the special Valentine's Day dessert that was promised was not as impressive as we had hoped. The staff did a decent job, but seemed a little swamped with the busy night, causing some delays in service. The cheesecake we ordered was tasty, but we felt that the portion was too small for the high price. We were expecting to receive two pieces for the price, rather than just a small portion."
