We chose to eat a gourmet board with pepper ice for one and the other goat ice cream it was really delicious. "We stopped by here for lunch, after reading that locals in the area recommend this restaurant, and we are so glad we did. Although we are both meat eaters, the vegetarian food here was *amazing*, beautifully presented, and satisfying. It was also such a refreshing break from all of the heavy French fare we had been eating. Don’t skip the homemade desserts! I had a slice of mojito cake that was absolutely delicious — I wish I had the recipe! The owner and staff were also exceptionally friendly as well. Finally, everything was such an excellent value. I highly recommend stopping here when in Cahors!"

"We had just visited the valentine bridge and came back to the deck when we went to the garrigue. the fixed menu at 13 euros for the day was: soup, gizzard salad (smoke or duck), duck stew with rissoles apples, cheese, dessert and a bottle of ordinary wine between the 4 or us. the supper was laid on the table and we served – vegetable cream with crusts. We asked if two of us could get the salad without a gizzard. No problem! We were given a salad with smoked salmon - delicious (and apparently the gizzards were excellent too). Potato duck was served on a serving dish and we used ourselves - a very good idea because some of us already felt quite satisfied. Following a cheese tray was left to us and finally we were offered a choice of 3 desserts or a selection of ice or sorbets. wine was very acceptable and service excellent. our water carafe and our bread basket were replaced as soon as necessary and the waitress was extremely friendly despite the fact that the restaurant was full - all other guests seemed to be local, many of them were workers. we dined in the shaded outer area but would also have been able to eat inside. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and I will certainly return!"

"this restaurant offers an atmosphere, service and excellent cuisine to a good value for money. There were two fixed-priced menus that locally supply as much as possible. one cost less than the other, but both were ambitious and well designed. The night my sister and I had dinner, we tried a selection of the two menus. The mouthing was tiny muscles in a broth. My entrance was a silky and tasty artichoke terrine. my dorado net was cooked to perfection and served with fennel and mushrooms. the selection of local cheeses was generous and delicious. my sister had shrimp in parmesan with spring vegetables, lamb with spring vegetables, all delicious. its dessert was a rhubarb raspberry pie with a red pepper strawberry sorbet! our server explained the menu in English and was attentive. I recommend the restaurant to any person in the sarlat area or in the cahors area."

"Vraiment une belle surprise ! Cuisine simple gouteuse copieuse et très bonne. C'est pas le guide michelin mais c'est tellement mieux, familial, convivial et agreable sous la tonnelle de la glycine. "Oh, my God, not a good experience. no table outside - fairly fair, we hadn't booked. We agreed to eat inside, but then we were shown a room upstairs that was a little oppressive. we asked if we could have a table near the window but we were told that it was reserved - we had been there for chandeliers - see below - and no one showed up. We tried to order tapas for the entries - but most of them were off. the replacement starter chosen by 2 of our group was also "off". I gave up an entry but others persisted - finally some arrived but not the swine shinks ordered by my husband - he had to go down and get a progress report. I had pity on the waitress who served us, even if we were of course polite. The main dishes finally arrived and were not bad - I had chicken that was rather dry but other dishes met more approval. However, at that time, we had a little bit of it and wanted to have chosen another place. honestly, the staff clearly realized that we had not had a good experience and another staff member came to apologize and offered us a free bottle of wine. I can see that others have had a much better time then maybe we haven't had a chance?"

"Nice thing this Sunday. A boss so cook but also waiter! Three labels and yet, it took the time to exchange with serenity and friendliness with its customers who came in numbers. "It's in the place of the release of cahors that we chose to take our lunch break. the terrace in the shade of the big trees is welcoming and makes want to stop there. The concept of this tarterie is simple: has the map of the original flavoured pies (I was able to appreciate that with chicken, pineapple, curry) accompanied by salad, taboolet and gaspacho. a special mention for dessert, plum crumble, a delight! for children, do as our table neighbours, ask for a specially composed plate for them, a pity we did not propose. "the evening had started with a storm flood, which stopped very much about just before the beginning of the evening. the staff worked to rehabilitate the tables of the terrace by making the customers patient with good care. "How not to make a detour through the kitchen on the south side during a passage to Cahors. After a first delightful experience a few months ago, I decided to come back to taste David Blanco’s cuisine and it was splendid! On the menu: a homemade vol-au-vent with a wonderful mushroom sauce: a pure delight! In the dish, I was tempted by a poultry supreme accompanied by his gratin of dauphinoise ravioli, the whole of which was blister sauce: extraordinary! My friend tasted the saint-jacques in the cabbage leaf, very good! All this accompanied by a glass of Cahors wine that blends perfectly with the menu. Finally, the service is always impeccable and benevolent. I'll come back for sure, I recommend the eyes closed."

"I had already come to Saint George several times to take pizzas to take away. I've never been disappointed, they're excellent. I've got a little weak for the magret. "I ate here on July 11, 2017. directly from my paper: "I arrived early and I lunched at the lisa bistrot. terrible! I had the worst waiter, people who came long after us served before us, food not brought at the same time, that of jeanne the beef was so hard that she couldn't eat it. so bad that we left without the dessert included in the meal. I spoke to another server (since ours was never there) of the unmangeable meal, but nothing was done to reduce the invoice. so much for lisa"! We were in france for almost two months, and this place gets the price of the worst meal of all time. Don't you look like this place is the swells!"

"the palace, in the main street of cahors, is good for lunch or dinner, but is probably the best for lunch. in addition to the indoor dining area, there are two terraces that can be noisy as the French traffic of the house at lunch is intensifying. the staff is friendly and helpful and the chefs are good. a wide range of dishes is available and there are daily dishes and daily dishes. service is good and at a reasonable pace. My only critical [light] is that the portions of glass wine seem a little medium. you will find all types here - businessmen, buyers, families, etc."
