"pulling from America to coventry was my first official pub I've ever been. I was so shocked as people were sitting around the day and talking, eating cheap food and drinking. that was over 5 years ago and I have become used to the pubs now and I have to admit that this is running very efficiently! mine man and I go to this special pub once a month to take a delicious meal and a drink for less the cost of two latte to high-end coffee shops. we leave full and satisfied, and it does not break the bank. it is a grade listed building that means that the architecture cannot be changed by it so that they really quirky Causes like an old staircase, and a crazy number of additional stairs to actually use the damen wc! (there is a deactivated toilet down, but it is just the right to use the normal above). the place is beautifully held, with seasonal Christmas decoration in December, and it is regularly cleaned. there is no old stance here, which is a good sign, and about it the employees are really great! there is a turn about the years natural, but the good always seem to stay on. they offer fast and efficient service. there are seats outside in the front, which seems to occupy everyone and everyone. it is mostly for the smoker. but there is a nice warm weather outside the seats in the upper floor around the back not smoking. my favorite thing about the visit is the unlimited refill for coffee, tee, lattes, mochas, etc. It is a really nice automatic machine and tastes great. So count me for breakfast, and if I go to lunch or dinner, then a full of sugary pepsi is in order! I wish they would work on their dessert menu, but the amount and taste of food for the cost makes it. So if you are in coventry and want to look for an authentic old pub, this is the place! Watch all historical pictures and drawings around the place and on the way to the toilets!"
