"in the beautiful city bath and while we came through the most picturesque gasses we came over pizza express and since it was the lunchtime, we all decided to dive here. this branch is smaller, then most of which I was too, it was very difficult to fit our family of 8 especially on the top floor so that the staff is accommodated in the cellar that is only used when the top floor is full or if there is any party or function. the personal was friendly but very slow service from making the table to getting the bill always was quite slow and even eating was served cold. after passing through the menu we decided to order the order for the starter first, the bruschetta con funghi. the court was mouthwater. from the soft brot to the amazing tasty sauce this dish was divine. it was very different from the usual appetizers that I usually go on express when I go to pizza. for our net we ordered a lot of finger lick dishes such as calzone Verdure, pollo pesto, pollo forza, veneziana and margherita. the calzone had a delicious filling of salmon and tasted absolutely delicious. the pollo pesto was a pasta with white sauce and salmon, which was also a great tasting dish, reminded me of my favorite pasta that makes my mother for me. the pollo forza and veneziana were the two pizzas we had ordered, both were good, but my favorite was the pollo forza, as he was spicy and had historyd various vegetables and a beautiful soft base with delicious tomato sauce. on the other side, the veneziana pizza was also tasty, she had pine nuts and was so skurril. even though we were all full of the netcens, we could not resist the desserts. for our desserts we had chocolate wing cake, cheesecake and picollo sundae with bambinoccino. all desserts were decent not really amazing as I had much better. the presentation of each article was really great, but in taste they all tasted quite basic. from the menu we could not order most desserts as they were short vanilla ice cream, so we had to decide for the other available options. the service was very slow and the waitress took her own sweet time for almost always. the food was served cold, which is not a nice thing especially when they have dishes that have cheese since it begins to chew. the number of dishes was excellent and could easily be divided between two people. this branch except taste card that helped us get a good discount on the bill."

"This is a terrible restaurant. Avoid it at all costs. The waiters were rude and acts like you 're inconveniencing them for being there. We paid £125 for 3 people’s meal that were barely edible. It was lunchtime. We had just visited Alexandra Palace and were like looking for some indian food nearby. What a mistake! They were serving rotten salads and may be the chicken was cooked at least two weeks ago. Almost anywhere else would have been better. I don 't know whether it was the fact that the food was listed under veggies or that there was a 10% service surcharge on top of the inflated prices or that soft drinks cost £10. I don 't know whether it was instant glare we got when we entered the restaurant which made us feel unwelcome, the snappy and rude 'No ' response when we enquired whether they had any vegan meals. I don 't know whether it was the hieroglyphic bill designed to confuse us on leaving or the scared and silent faces of the several fellow tourists also incarcerated alongside us. We made good our escape and paid someone to let us out of the front door (leaving our card details would have been too risky)! We can only hope that those we left behind, later managed to find safe passage out, possibly when the guard 's backs were turned by means of some distraction. The cheapest possible food at the highest possible prices, effectively a greasy spoon masquerading as a restaurant. The only plus-side was my indian curry looked like a poked face!"

"Visited the Arnos Arms on 2 occasions. The first time was a leaving 'do ' with colleagues from work and the second occasion was for my husband 's birthday, two weeks apart. On both visits, we were met by helpful, friendly staff. I had a meal on both occasions and these would be the only let down of my times there. On my first visit, I had the Barnsley chop, which, whilst tasty, was a tad tough. My colleague who chose the same dish declared that hers was lovely and not tough at all, so not sure what happened there. On the occasion of my husband 's birthday, I ordered the fish and chips. The batter on the fish was a bit overcooked and not the golden brown colour you would expect on fried battered fish, which although this took away from its appearance and presentation, the taste and the portion size was good. The portion sizes of the chips and the garden peas, however, were somewhat smaller than the portions my colleagues, who chose fish and chips, received on my first visit. I have been unlucky on the 2 occasions with my food at the Arnos Arms but I promise that these were both genuine issues, I am in no way a serial 'whinger '. I 'm sorry that I was a bit too 'British ' didn 't like to complain...for those that don 't know the term), and didn 't say anything at the time as I didn 't give them the opportunity to put these matters right. However, these issues would not deter me from visiting the pub, and having a meal), again, as on both occasions the staff and atmosphere made up for the disappointment with the food and I had a really good time; nevertheless, I think a wee bit more training on presentation and consistency of the meals would only help to positively enhance the rest of the pub 's great assets and reputation."
