"Placed my first ever order with this local takeaway for a curry night with family and friends and on a Monday, too! We were all impressed not least our little 2 year old visitor who demolished two dishes of paneer cheese dhasnak with great relish. I opted to collect the order and received a call 10 minutes before it was ready. All the curry dishes were waiting for me; I just had to wait 5 minutes whilst the busy chef plunged the breads in the fryer and counted out the poppadoms which were worth waiting for. All in all a lovely meal."

"Pre ordered using just eat on New Year’s Eve and I cannot explain how terrible it all was. 3 adult meals got thrown away, one of the kids meals had to be microwave heated just to make it warm (it was still disgusting) and one of the side dishes (cucumber raita) was curdled to a point it looked like a small brick.. I called them straight away and was told that they could not send any replacement food as they were too busy but they would give us a 60% reduction on our food instead so we could at least order someone where else. Still not received promised discount, we’ve complained to just eat as we ordered through there App but because it was New Years they can’t do anything and the restaurant are now denying they even delivered to us.. I understand it was New Years, lockdown and that they were busy but how can you expect repeat customers when your service is so bad!!!!!!! Avoid the hassle and use someone where else!!!!!!"

"Totally forgot to take pictures of the food we had brought because it was that good we ate it so quick !!! I was diagnosed coeliac last August and have been struggling with the GF diet, most of the foods I 've tried aren 't nice at all. Someone told me about Belgrave Chip Shop last week and having a full size GF menu, so I had to try it!! Well, we wasn 't disappointed at all when I say we, its because my husband who can eat anything off the menu, was tucking into my GF fish bites and GF chips. They were that good, he said he would have them over the normal menu We live the other side of Tamworth to Belgrave but will definitely, 100%, be making the trip when we fancy a 'chippy tea '. Thank you so much for making the effort to do GF, it makes the world of difference to people like me, x I 'll be sure to post this on the GF support pages I 'm following too, along with a picture of your menu"

"Absolutely fantastic!!!! I am not veggie or vegan buy my husband is, so rather than the usual one or two dishes to choose from we thought we'd give it a go absolutely fantastic. Everything was hot and fresh, everything was full of flavour and every dish tasted different. The samosa chaat and the chilli paneer, and the aloo paratha, and the biryani were all out of this world. We ordered noodles that they didn't have, so they knocked it off the bill and threw in the biryani. The delivery driver was really polite and really friendly, order arrived on time and hot from Preston. Don't let the delivery cost put you off as the food is very very reasonable and of an excellent quality You have to try you will not be disappointed. Didn't miss the meat whatsoever! Didn't even spot a single mushroom thank goodness! I was really worried I wouldnt like much, but this was incredible and hands down the best takeaway we've ever had"

"we have dipped on Saturday before Christmas for a couple of 2-4-1 mojitos after we have shown the menu outside, all drinks (including cocktails) and foods are clearly marked as vegan (ve). this is essentially a Caribbean version of las iguanas. very modern, artificially refined and vividly decorated. they confirm, however, that there is more vegan in the company."

"make a bit of a new round trip since she moved here for uni after trying the cheap and yet overpriced food along the caffe, they decided that nobody could screw up a burger meal. this place...maybe if they manage to get safely inside, the gauntlet of roadmen outside try to look good and forge both the builders and stands with limited health and safety knowledge and the UberEats/deliveroo drivers waiting outside, they get in, what looks like it might be cool in that it is no longer cool. prepare to repeat their order v-e-r-y slowly, at least three times before they get a knot and ask to share with a considerable sum of cash. I brought it home and slowly talking, had not worked as any piece that was pushed in the bag was wrong. if they thought mcdonald's lack of taste, then they will be disappointed here. not sure if there was a burger or the carton under a microwave castle? vegetarian housewife was given chicken. or soylentgreen. who knows how this place is open, I don't know, but I won't go back. I didn't want to complain personally because the roadman probably wouldn't have appreciated it. prove that they should stick to what they know."

"I booked this restaurant for 3 people however there was another table of 6 people in there that was part of our group so 9 all together. We overall enjoyed our meals with an exception of 3 who ordered sweet and sour chicken. It wasn't explained to them that the meal they ordered only came with a dipping sauce. All 3 thought the sauce was blend. When we came to pay my friend asked why there was no veg (onions, pepper etc) in the sauce to be told oh you should of ordered Cantonese style sweet and sour. I'd like to offer some advice to the restaurant. Take a minute and explain that the guest may have ordered the wrong item from the menu. It would definitely ensure the guest got the correct item and therefore ensuring returning guests. One final comment. If asked would you like everything to come out together that means you will get your starter and mains together so make sure you say no thank you we'll have our starters first. Long post but i hope this helps guest and restaurant"

"What a great place The food was outstanding and one of the best Italian food I've ever had. The dough and pasta freshly made, great choice of drinks and heavenly delicious desserts. Unfortunately there was no tiramisu already but I have an excuse to go back there. A tiny minus for the customer service. We have been waiting ages for drinks and meal (it was only us at that time, not in rush hours), we got dishes we didn't order, we had to ask couple of times when we'd get our meals, the waitress forgot about our drinks... This was September 2020 and I hope the service is a lot better now. Good location, very cosy, nice decorated place too however if all table are occupated then it's very loud and it's hard to keep the conversation at the table, it was a bit like in bee hive and a bit claustrophobic."

"OUR FIRST VISIT: Dickies is a charming, surprisingly cosy restaurant. As its on a clearly working farm you'd expect the meat to be fresh and high quality and we weren't disappointed... the beef is succulent and tasty, the yorkshires were delicious, gravy was flavoursome and generous (even given an extra jug we didn't ask for). We had the Quails eggs and Salt beef to start and both were tasty. Shared a desert (the chocolate one) which was surprisingly light. Not a bit of stodge in sight. Staff were attentive and friendly... genuinely could not fault this place. I highly recommend..."

"I really enjoy this pub; it’s a true gem in the area. Right now, I’d give it 4 stars, mainly because the security measures could use some improvement. I’m not sure if we’ve found a table that truly suits our needs, as the group changed while we were there. There were about five people, and I found it difficult to maintain social distancing. The restrooms were quite busy as well, which indicates a need for a person limit. On a positive note, the app for ordering and the table service were effective, and there’s a spacious outdoor area to enjoy."

"A small cafe that does a modest menu of traditional Greek food. I have eaten here twice and the prices were reasonable for some delicious food. £4 for a pita filled with chicken/pork, sauce and chips was great. A couple of vegan options are available but we had some trouble confirming that the waitress understood what dairy-free meant for my lactose intolerant friend. The sharing platter of meats was delicious without being greasy, but having the dips, feta cheese and butter all on the plate wasn't great for my friend. Service is usually pretty quick and there is a steady trickle of people coming for takeaway or to grab a quick eating in experience. The music is pretty bad, but that's my opinion!"

"The food at this restaurant was delicious, the best Chinese food we have ever had. It took about two hours to get here, but it was worth the wait. The dishes came out at the perfect temperature, hot but not too hot to eat, and they were absolutely beautiful. They even gave us a free bottle of Coke! We will definitely order from here again. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very friendly, just like the service."

"After using cinnamon spice for many years, last nights service was appalling. 4 hour wait for a curry ordered at 6pm via their website paid for in advance. Many calls during the evening and reassurance given even at 7.30pm informed it was being cooked clearly incorrect misleading information. After an evening of multiple calls to the restaurant having the phone just ringing out, calls cancelled and text messages unanswered I did speak to the restaurant at 10pm they still were giving excuses the curry was being cooked totally unacceptable. A family evening spoilt without even the courtesy to call us and inform us of a 4 hour delay. I dread to think of people who ordered after 6pm when or if their food arrived or was it just ours that was forgotten. The restaurant should not accept orders they cannot deliver in a timely manner and if a delay is above the informed time of delivery the customer should be informed at least then giving us the option of sourcing the families evening meal elsewhere. We are still awaiting a refund which was not processed last night as promised, again very disappointing when the money is taken out if the bank immediately refunds should also be prompt. A family evening ruined by incompetent organisation of a takeaway service which surely was anticipated to be busy, even more disappointing as the food us usually very good but significantly let down by the operational management."

"The food tasted good, was hot and arrived on time. No complaints there. However, I felt that the person I spoke to on the phone lacked customer skills. I requested a substitution and the answer was a quick no, it does not come like that to which I responded that I am aware but I am requesting a substitution of equal value; Not a full portion of something else. What is the issue exactly with making this type of change? but that was answered with a simple ok, this time but not next time and when I posed the question again as to why that was a problem essentially the person was not wiling to converse and hang up. Overall not the best ordering experience. It would have been good to be given a reasonable response, particularly one that demonstrated that they care about what their customers want."

"On Saturday night we ordered from Spice. We ordered online through their website and delivery was 45 min since placing order. The staff was kind and helpful, prodigal with explanations. Superlative food, I am not speaking as a connoisseur of Indian cuisine, but the softness of the meat, the flavour, the feeling of freshness of the ingredients speak a universal language. "Had a not so good experience ordering from here. I wanted to try the new vegan pizza and sides but it was cold and soggy by the time it got to me. I ordered olives on the pizza and there was genuinely one olive per slice on a large size. The caulliflower wings were overcooked on the inside and soggy on the outside. Pretty disappointed considering those two items came to £25!"

"The Masala table at this restaurant is excellent, and the chicken burgers are spot on. The mayonnaise here is my favorite compared to other places. There is plenty of parking available on both the front and side streets for customers to pick up their orders. However, I would advise against becoming a regular eater here due to the fast food nature of the menu."
