"The service was slow, and we were informed at 8:30 that we had to leave immediately because the next customers were already here. They mentioned a problem with the system, but only after we requested to finish our drinks first. We were told that we had to leave right away for the next customers. I think we should have been informed about this from the beginning and given a warning, as we thought we had the table for 2 hours as stated on the OpenTable app. The next customers should have been told that we could have an extra 10 minutes to finish our drinks, instead of being told that we had to leave immediately."

"The bar isn't very large, but it offers ample seating, is cozy, and has a distinct aesthetic that creates a welcoming atmosphere—I felt right at home. We stopped by on a Friday night and were surprised to find it relatively quiet, though they were doing their best to entertain the roughly 15 customers with a laid-back DJ set accompanying the pizzas and cocktails. The music wasn't too loud, allowing for conversation, and the DJ primarily played 90s Britpop while intermittently mingling with the patrons. He seemed like a friendly guy who genuinely wanted everyone to enjoy themselves. We decided to order a couple of pizzas. I went for the Breakfast at Eisenberg's, which featured ham, mushrooms, and pepperoni, while my partner chose a Margherita with added ham. We discovered that the 9-inch and 12-inch pizzas are two for the price of one when you dine in, while they also offer 16-inch pizzas for delivery. We ended up ordering two pizzas and two pints for just £20. The pizza crusts were thin and crispy, and the toppings were quite tasty. The only downside? I could have easily eaten another half pizza! Perhaps I was hungrier than I realized, but it made me think that North Star might be a better spot for lunch rather than dinner (though I will definitely be back for cocktails)."

"Frankie & Benny's in Falkirk provides an exceptional family-friendly environment! We have become regulars and cannot think of any other restaurant that can match their exceptional service and warm welcome. The staff are all exceptional, particularly our waiter, John Paul, who is a true leader. He not only respects his colleagues but also works collaboratively with them. I have witnessed him skillfully coaching team members and handling difficult situations with grace. His customer service is outstanding and he communicates effectively in every situation. He ensured that our daughter's dietary needs were met and kept us informed every step of the way. Each visit to the restaurant leaves me impressed by his dedication and communication skills. I highly recommend visiting Frankie & Benny's in Falkirk for a fantastic family experience or to witness a master at work. It truly is a class act and a wonderful experience."

"My daughter, grandson and I visited on Saturday 7.05pm we were told 25 minutes wait even though the place wasn’t busy . I asked how long for take away as my grandson is 5 and not the most patient she said 15mins. 7.30pm I asked how much longer as people had their food and came in after us. Finally 7.45 an apology was made however it should not have taken that long and the error should have been picked up sooner. I approached the manager who apologised but he was more focused on a situation going on to the side of me asking me what’s happened there as we heard plates smash. Chaos firefighter can only describe the service in this Nando’s we won’t be back"

"So yesterday I went for lunch at the canalside and it has seriously went downhill. I posted a wee comment on their page without going into detail all I said was I was disappointed, as I don't believe in totally slating a business on fb. However they have now deleted my post and blocked me from their page so I am taking it upon myself to leave an honest review. 21 pounds for 2 course isn't the cheapest so I expected something at least edible. I can't fault the waiting staff as they did their job and the food was served promptly as we explained we were in a bit of a rush. I ordered the tomatoe and roast pepper soup for starter and the festive burger for main. Bearing in mind this was 21 quid.... The soup was basically as though they'd opened a tin of tomatoes and heat it up. Nothing more, nothing less. I'd have put up with that as a starter if the burger that came next was actually so bad that we were sniffing it before every bite as there was strange whiff to the meat which us panicking it was off, which we really shouldn't be having to do. We ended up leaving it . The only part which was actually good was the pigs in blankets on top. The point of my post is why can't I post an honest criticism about food which I paid good money for without getting blocked. All I said on the page that they have went down hill. Any decent business would have wanted to know what the issue was in the hope to resolve it for future potential customers. Make your own mind up but I won't be back ."

"2 adults 1child I'll start with the positive first the girls were lovely. Now the negatives ordered a latte coffee which was undrinkable as it was so bitter. 2main courses were ok but 1 was terrible, it was meant to be a chicken burger bit it was just a lump of undercooked chicken that was full of water had some blood init, on a bun definitely wasnt a chicken burger, it got sent straight back, my b/f was offered another meal bit he lost his appitite after seeing that. He ordered a drink that never arrived. Our granddaughter ordered caramel apple pie ice cream the pie was lukewarm at best the pastry wasnt cooked properly either. We've been coming to the stables on and off for years and the food has always been good but unfortunately i cant say the same for the food now,I dont know if it's changed hands, but the food and menu is nowhere near as good as it used to be. So on that, we sadly wont be going back."

"We decided to try out Mango for the first time since it's only a 15-minute drive from our home. We were celebrating Eid as a family and usually go into the city center, but opted to stay local this time. Unfortunately, our experience was not great from the start. There was no greeting upon our arrival, and we had to mention our reservation before any communication began. One staff member in particular was very rude and unfriendly, showing no manners and seeming eager for us to leave. There was no communication or even a smile from her throughout our time at the restaurant. We were given regular menus instead of lunch menus, but didn't bother asking for the correct ones as we were celebrating the end of Ramadan. It was frustrating to see other customers receiving the lunch menus. The food was bland and one of our children was burned by hot oil from his burger. It's disappointing that we had a negative experience, as we could have been repeat customers. It seems like our feedback may not be valued based on what we've heard."

"We visited on a cold, rainy Saturday afternoon for lunch and the place was really busy; luckily the helpful staff managed to find us a table. The food is great value; 2 courses for £6.95 or 3 courses for £8.95. However I guess you do get what you paid for. We found the food to be slightly disappointing; the quesadilla had absolutely no flavour, the sausages were burnt, the mash was clearly frozen/reconstituted and the soup was bland. A couple of the dishes were tasty enough and the portions were generous but I don't think that makes up for the shortcomings. The fact that it's so popular has got to be down to the staff, who were fantastic. Friendly, helpful, efficient and hard working, you really couldn't fault them. I guess the cheaper food will encourage business, but there's no need for cheap food to be poorly prepared; I've known chefs who can make the cheapest cuts taste really expensive so there's no excuse for lazy presentation and burnt sausages. It's a nice wee place though, worth a visit for a drink and a chat with the great staff, and maybe the snack/sandwich menu would have been a better choice of food. We may give this another chance in future, hopefully they will have pulled their socks up regarding the food prep."

"I arrived at the restaurant at two different meal times but my food still hadn't been delivered to my table. Instead, I was only able to check on my order and was offered the option to call for takeout. I tried calling the number displayed on Google, but it led to a Tesco mobile voicemail. The reviews online mention that the food is good, but be cautious when ordering as they do not offer delivery service."

"Saturday Night prebooked online and paid deposit per person. place was empty only another 3 tables taken, not the most welcoming place initially from the staff didn't look happy. We took our seats then told that we had to order via the APP then it changed to that it would be quicker if we ordered at the bar so that everything came out at the same time. Very strange as all other places you place your order with a waiter, so we ordered at the bar for drinks and mains and was surprised that we had to pay straight away as they are not allowed to have tabs open. Service was slow i could hear the just eat machine constantly beeping and see delivery drivers come and go. When the food did it was disappointing to see the portion sizes have changed and got a lot smaller, not really worth the price. Not once did a member of staff come over to check everything was okay or try to sell more drinks what you'd expect. They looked too busy cutting paper sheets for boxes that they building for takeaway orders, they had few tables at entrance where they had it all sitting on . We ordered deserts and these where extremely disappointing,we ordered 2 meringues nothing like the pictures or what had before was tiny and bottom too hard to eat. 1 cookie jar sundae it was not served in a jam jar as advertised, it was a small glass from the bar. When the deserts where brought to the table we still had all the mains plates sitting that we had to stack up and then ask one the members of staff for them to be taken away so had space to eat deserts not the service you expect. They also automatically add £1 to your bill so every time you order anything that's £1 for a charity i don't mind if you maybe ask first but should never be expected!. Overall the service and experience was the worst dinning experience received we felt that we where an inconvenience to the staff. If they continue to treat customers this way then this place will close, i think they mostly relay on online order which is a bad model for this sort of establishment. i would advise you pick somewhere else other than here and if you try comment on their social media page they will block you thankfully they are unable to do that on here. I have also emailed my concerns before leaving this review but nobody has taken the time to respond in over a month now."

"Just had a meal at 'Yang Sing ' in Camelon in Falkirk. Although it was pretty quiet tonight(I suspect due due to Bad weather and flooding which even had ducks breaking out their umbrellas ' and wellies food was plentiful, hot and very tasty. On entry we received a really friendly greeting from the staff before being escorted to a table which was clean, comfortable and in a lovely warm place. Decor was done to a good standard and tables were clean and well covered, there was quite a few staff in the restaurant despite a night when fish could be swimming along the roads and down the drains due to the flooding, the staff on duty were friendly and very attentive. To start we ordered drinks which were delivered within a couple of minutes and then given ample time to help ourselves from the well-stocked buffet. Whilst we were enjoying our meal some of the staff took the time to talk to us, and all were very polite and helpful(Special Shoutout to our favourite Server Ankie(Sorry about spelling anyway she is very polite, helpful funny . Can 't compliment staff enough, they genuinely seemed interested in us and made sure we were enjoying our meal, cleared dirty plates quickly and anything we asked was done quickly efficiently and always with a smile.(i.e. Mrs R asked if cream jug could be refilled which was done in seconds . Been here before and always enjoyed it, we find there is a good variety of food including soups(with bread and real butter not any of that half-hearted spread pretending to be butter . Main meals catering to various pallets and of course a large selection of sweets(absolutely loved The Victoria Sponge tonight . Being 'Fat Gitts ' Me and 'Mr R ' junior couldn 't resist various visits to the sweet area and the only thing that stopped us trying every sweet on menu was realization of our gluttony. Will definitely be back."

"Phoned in advance to ask about it being dog friendly, which I was informed it is but have to be seated outside. Not a friendly entrance, when seated we were seated in a corner so it wasn’t as windy but was freezing, there was no heaters or perspex to try and keep the wind out and heat in, my grandparent is 85 and not saying places have to offer blankets but I know of places that do when you are sitting outside. There were left over cigarette ends left in an ash try on the table, the table wasn’t cleaned either. Had to order everything from inside, they don’t bother coming out unless it’s to take your food out/in. The waitress was so unfriendly when ordering food at the desk as well as having to repeat my order 3 times, it was 2 starters and 2 mains that were straight forward. The menu was so basic and simple. The mains were basically salads bar 2 burger options. The food was bland and boring, something you could make at your own home! The haggis for starters was very greasy, the chicken burger for mains didn’t have sauce in it, the bun just fell apart. The mushroom soup wasn’t something the brag about and the tuna toasty was just average. The icing on top of the cake was that they can’t fill up the dog bowls with water, as apparently they aren’t allowed to touch them? I just used water from my car as I never got shown an outside tap, felt like you had to do everything yourself bar make the food. Food was okay priced but just simple things like vinaigrette would have been nice on the salad. Wouldn’t rush back in a hurry, nicer places to try, was organically going to go to the cafe at Canada Woods but unfortunately it was closed for today."

"Service looses a star because the staff were clearly stressed and struggling with the amount of orders they had to deal with. Luckily they remained polite to our faces while we waited for our food, but it was still a bit distracting. They no longer offer sit in after COVID-19, and we really did want to sit in, too. There is perfect space and lovely decor inside that set a wonderful atmosphere for the food you're about to eat, so it would have been even better if we could have dined inside. I digress, however, as this was one of, if not the, best Chinese I have tried in the Falkirk area. Walked back home and food was still warm to eat. I had a Cantonese style Sweet and Sour chicken and it was beautiful. My partner and my father had the same main dish and throughout them eating it they continuously made comments on how wonderful it was. My partner even shared some pieces of his meal with me and I do have to agree, it was fantastic. It was really quite busy for a Tuesday night. I would love to see the dine in option become available at this restaurant again! Will be ordering from here again. Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs on entry to building, not accessible if you're in a wheelchair unfortunately! You'd have to call and order a delivery to experience the cuisine on offer here. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sweet and Sour Chicken, Spring Roll"

"I booked the Railway Inn as I had heard how good the meals were. I messaged them as I live in Guernsey and was coming home for my 60th Birthday. All the correspondence was answered very quickly and they were great to deal with on the phone before the event. When we arrived they had everything all set out and were very quick in serving the 25 of us due to sending everyone's order a few days previously. I can only say the food was generous portions and piping hot. The steak pie was delicious. I would certainly recommend The Railway Inn to anyone looking for great staff, excellent prices and of course the best staff. Thanks again to all the staff for their very attentive service and compliments to the Chef for the delicious food."

"I went to this restaurant because it had good vegan options and I was not disappointed. The restaurant was modern, clean, and stylish. The service was outstanding, friendly, and attentive without being too much. The food was delicious and it was great to be able to choose a few dishes. Scottish tapas may sound surprising, but it actually works. My partner, who is not vegan, was also very happy with his food. The mango cheesecake was one of the best vegan desserts I've ever had, like a little piece of heaven. I highly recommend this place to anyone in or visiting Falkirk. You won't be disappointed."

"We arrived at this restaurant after seeing it advertised as a pub stopover for motorhomes. When we entered, we were told that they were not serving food despite the advertisement, which was disappointing. We decided to stay for one drink and quickly realized that this was a local dive bar. The locals were loud, singing loudly, and the atmosphere was not inviting. There were young people drinking and engaging in questionable activities. The beer garden reeked of marijuana. The restaurant is located across from a council estate with houses and high-rise flats. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"everything was really good. of the kind greeting of marta, which has one of the kindest personalities I have seen in a long time and after a long busy 13 hours day was an atem of fresh air and treated with any other customer. the same friendly professionalism. She's great. I also have to cry out and bailey, also infectious happy personalities and nothing was too much annoyed. all young were for a laugh and a sweat, but you know and customer service was phenominal. Thank you, people, I hope to see them again. I have in 20 strange premiere-inns this year alone, a few of them with a bark seeder, but this is by far the best I have visited. down. eating was amazing. chicken wing with hot sauce to begin. as always. perfect and had the smashed huh. again with hotter sauce. at the end my nose drowned like a crackhead. He was moist and tender, fresh coleslaw and crisp not so sick mixed out of lid. (no straftat against lid. Love the place and the dirty loaded pommes were only cheeky, I would have had a romantic night with only them, a fenced candle and a hot bath and I would be happy. these sides and all employees are a credit to the cattle meat companies. the atmosphere was also great I could add. I can't wait to come back. please thank all those who are here tonight, including those who really deserve a pat on the back. I'll check in here next time!"
