Sehr sehr schade."

"we really have no lack of Italian locality. this afternoon I remembered that I had never visited the il caminetto over the offensive stubs, although it has been in this corner house for about two years. directly behind the pedestrian zone and also on the market day, it is not easy to find a paid parking space. but today there was a huge empty one. also locally. in front of the door stood an Italian who turned out like himself and went with me. I chose the table in the rear corner at the window so I could photograph unobserved. what you don't like. the room is kept creamy, the serviettes put red accented, which looks elegant and I like. Only the hanging lamps of the tonne I find too rustic and not harmonize directly with the device. Italian music in pleasant loudness drives that silent. julia stands on the billing document brought me the menu, lit the candle and asked if I wanted to drink. No, I don't want to see. there was no tag map, even before the door there was no one. I ran over the pizzas, then I took the pasta dishes under the lupe. Finally I became a lasagne salmon, spinaci e ricotta € 8.50 . to drink a mangoschorle 0.4 l. € 3,50 . whether I want an salat € 4,50 for this, I was asked and found it very attentive. he was dressed with a criminal dressing according to a recipe of mama. you can't say no. ruckzuck came a bowl with rucola, eisbergsalat, olive without kernel, carrots, tomatoes, paprika and partly peeled gurken the dressing I found in the middle. there was also fresh bread. mamas dressing in all honors, but it was quite powerful and certainly marches straight in direction claw. the next time I would give a vinaiigrette that liked. the lasagne was served with the warning that it was very hot. that is also the reason why I rarely order them. often enough that I burned my teeth. So I cut them three times and let them evaporate a little. as it turned out, the filling with the piercing rod had been processed to a homogeneous mass. I don't know, but I'm pleasant to eat. I tasted both the salmon and the spinach well and found the fruity tomato sauce very harmonious. Just as before in the salat the julia came by briefly and asked if everything fits. Until now, some other guests had found this way. I always feel uncomfortable when I'm alone. with the clearing of the lasagne up form it was over with the attention. old tactics, fix the service power by intensive eye contact search. has also worked here. but the julia did not come here, but remained with the two tables. I'm used to the fact that the operation doesn't come to me, so I'm talking quietly. julia had good ears and understood that I wanted to dessert. she could offer me fresh tiramisu or panna cotta, she called me. I murmured back “a tiramisu € 4,50 and an espresso macchiato € 2, ” . as most often there were chocolate sauce and spray cream as deco. I don't have to, especially because this tiramisu had a lot of sight. I didn't cost mascarpone. for this the spoon bisquit was perfectly softened. just so he wasn't dirty. in my personal opinion, a tiramisu must be creamy and not cut-resistant like a torte. but whoever likes it will cost it here. the espresso was okay. I didn't pick up the toilets, but I know you had to go down a stairs. as far as I could see, the whole gas room was flashy. when I paid the bill, the julia took advantage of the opportunity and beat over garish. I had to hear what you don't like. that really disturbed me, not because I like to live here, but because I'm the one who thinks you're a gas test – even if you've never seen him before. Conclusion: eating has cost me as a whole, as I have on 4 stars. on the service, but I turn to three stars. the facility is also suitable for a romantic evening if you want to spend it in a pizzeria. with corresponding weather you can also eat on the large terrace. I'll come back to a pizza or I'll wait until I see on one standing in front of the door that there are fresh pasta."

"This is a follow up to a review I post 2 years ago when we were hotel/spa guests. Read: “Peace, tranquility and a friendly staff.”Reviewed July 29, 2014 for a more thorough accounting of the Hotel/Spa.Due to business related work we were unable to stay at this wonderful hotel but knew we wanted to return to our favorite hotel in Garmisch, the Riessersee Hotel Sport & Spa. My husband and I hiked up to the Riessersee for a little exercise early in the afternoon while enjoying the views on a cold, sunny day. Once we got to the hotel we enjoyed wandering around the property to include the lake and paths. The Biergarten is closed for the winter and the lake is frozen solid but the pathway around the lake and grounds were all well groomed allowing us to walk without worrying about slippery ice. It is such a picturesque area and though the Biergarten was closed they had set up a little Christmas tree for ambiance. We enjoyed taking photos and walking for the next hour and then returned to the hotel for lunch which opened at noon. We entered and were immediately greeted by friendly staff. We had the place to ourselves and were shown to a lovely window seat with the sun shining in. Perfect! The menu had light fare as well as heartier plates. My husband chose the schnitzel with cranberry and fried potatoes with bacon/onions while I chose the pork medallions in a creamy mushroom sauce with herby spaetzle. Both came with a side salad. Drinks were a pilsner and white wine with a large sparkling water. The food was delicious! The schnitzel was lightly brown and crispy and the potatoes perfectly cooked. My medallions were tender, the sauce creamy and the herby spaetzle was really flavorful! Our side salads were real salads~not a garnish, that came in a bowl with a really nice oil and vinegar dressing. Everything tasted fresh and homemade! While we were eating another large group of maybe 15 came in and then a bit later another large group arrived. Each time they were greeted immediately and someone was serving them right away. Our service was never interrupted though these 2 large groups came in. I paid by cc and due to a problem with their computer I was escorted to the Reception area where it was taken care of quickly and pleasantly. My husband and I were so happy to be back at our favorite place in Garmisch and hope next year when we return we are able to stay a few nights~lunch was wonderful but it made me want to stay longer! :)"
