"I have been coming to this restaurant for most of my life and finally decided to write a review. We always choose this place for special occasions and for good reason. The Peking is a quaint, family-owned restaurant tucked away between two shops. If you enjoy a traditional dining experience, this is the place for you. The food is exceptional and the service is top-notch. We intended to take photos of the food during our recent visit, but we kept forgetting and ended up devouring each course before we could capture it! I can honestly say that I have never had a dish at the Peking that I did not enjoy. Our typical order consists of mixed appetizers, followed by crispy duck with plum sauce, pancakes, and a selection of main dishes. On a recent visit, we decided to try the seafood sizzling platter, which was outstanding and served piping hot! The sizzling platters always attract attention from other diners and often lead to them ordering one as well. The table service is always excellent, allowing us to relax, enjoy a few drinks, and take our time with our meal. We are usually too full for dessert, but when we have indulged in the past, it has always been delicious, particularly the hot toffee apples. We have countless fond memories of this restaurant, having visited for special occasions throughout my life. The restaurant has maintained its traditional charm and decor over the years, which we appreciate. The attention to detail at this restaurant truly sets it apart, and it must be experienced to be fully appreciated. There are few places like this one left, so keep up the great work, and we will see you next time!"
