"For many years and after many changes of owners, we have always considered Aragon Fisheries to be the very best in Knaresborough, however after visiting this evening 06/08/21, sadly we no longer consider it to be the best. The chips that were of any reasonable size, were very dry, the rest of the chips were very small, and hard, and sad to say crunchy, more like scraps. The fish batter was nothing like it used to be, it was flat, not in any way crisp, as the fish batter always used to be used to be. While we fully accept that potatoes at this time of year are not the best for making chips, the chips today were by far the worst we have had in Knaresborough in many years. What a shame the quality from this fish and chip shop has declined so much, so quickly, since changing hands."
