"When shopping along Hauptstraße in Heidelberg, I would pop into MoschMosch if I crave the familiarity of a bowl of ramen in a miso-based broth spiked with kimchi and roasted pork belly. I enjoy the flexibility of pimping my soup to taste with the condiments...provided on the table. My aunt was in town for some shopping on Hauptstraße, so I brought her to MoschMosch for a lunch pit-stop. It was a Monday, the place was not packed, yet we waited quite a while for our noodles. When our bowls of Glücksgefühle arrived, our ramen was overcooked and had lost its bite. The pork belly was tasty though, and I enjoyed seasoning my soup to taste. I was finishing up the soup from the bottom of my bowl when I felt something metallic in my mouth and spat it out. It was a broken-off strand from a steel wool scrubber (see photo)! Apparently, the kitchen staff scrubbed the pots and pans so hard that this bit got left behind. The manager was apologetic and she offered my aunt and I complimentary beverages. As we were already full of soup, we declined. She then asked if she could give us some dessert to take away. We didn't want to carry food with us while shopping, so we declined this offer as well. Eventually, she deducted my bowl of ramen from the bill. The food at MoschMosch tastes decent, but I wonder about the care taken by the kitchen staff to prepare the dishes. Because of today's discovery, there's only a two-star rating from me. I was lucky to chance upon this physical hazard in my food before swallowing. Had it been caught amongst the ramen instead of lurking at the bottom of the bowl, who knows how it would have affected me!"

"at the latest in our hotel in premier inn checked and wanted to eat everything except German. the type in our hotel recommended this place not too far to foot. they must take an escalator to the restaurant and it is near mcdonalds. what a beautiful huge room, they felt like they were in a parisienne caffe, dark wood paneled walls with mirrors and golden yellow light fittings, beautiful painted deck. the personal was welcoming and every table looked after a romantic evening with a small candle that flickered on each. small balcony area in free to eat, but so a beautiful room in the inner. all the music they played in the background loved her. the service we received from the waiter was michelin, who staged with very polished and very attentive taste and filled our glass wein before it was ever empty, but not in a drawer wise. we really fluffed pizza, which was absolutely wonderful, could only have been better if they were allowed to use a wood stove and it would have been Neapolitan style, must have been at least thin basic and tasty. really shouldn't have eaten everything, but it was sooo food! my only regret was that I left myself to how good their pastas and other meal times would have been if they could make a pizza so good. we stayed only one night in heidelberg, otherwise the next day would have come back. they would certainly recommend if they were to eat any kind of Italian wether with friends or want a romantic dinner. would like to return to the future."

"Ok so I was eating alone .. not always easy but some places put you at ease. This restaurant didn’t do that (in complete contrast to the Asia Chinese restaurant just a few metres away which I ate at the night before It was...almost empty and I still had a feeling of being rushed. Usually Italian restaurants( and this one looks very smart bring you some complimentary bread to begin but no. I asked for a main course bolognaise only and this came with Parmesan on it already not the normal question of wherever you would like it added at the table which is a lovely part of the Italian experience. Plate and glass where whisked away so fast as we finished my last mouthfuls that it felt as if I was being rushed. It then came to time to pay and I took out my card only to be told You haven’t spent enough money to be allowed to use your card. You’ve only spent 26 euros not 35. As a solo diner I would have had to have two courses or quite a lot of wine to reach this so it would have been good if they’d said when I arrived. I only had enough cash by chance. I had to use my last cash and was made to feel very uncomfortable. The food was nice but expensive for most dishes and not spectacular. So if you go I suggest you go with at least two people and prepare to take cash just in case. Its beautifully laid out but not a comfortable place to eat a leisurely dinner alone."

"My husband and I dined here last evening. Darwisch was my first exposure to Iranian food. As I said to him, It's recognizable as Middle Eastern, but the flavors go in new directions from the food with which I'm familiar. We started with a split...of prosecco, nicely chilled, and were served a small plate of sliced cheese similar to feta, fresh mint and parsley leaves, slices of raw onion, and raw radishes along with a basket of freshlybaked pita. We shared the appetizer sampler platter recommended as an appetizer for three people and a single entree of lamb stew over rice. This was ample food for two hungry sightseers. The appetizer platter included stuffed grape leaves, pickled roasted garlic new to us, marinated olives, two kinds of yogurt spreads one with roasted garlic, one similar to tzatziki but with different herbs, roasted slices of eggplant with herbed olive oil and smashed roasted garlic served on yogurt, sour cornichons, a roasted eggplant spread with yogurt and balsamic drizzle, and sliced cucumbers to dip in a cooked tomato and onion spread. The herbs and spices were differently combined and delicious. Our lamb stew was wonderfully flavored with tomatoes, onion, smoked lemon, barberries, and almonds. A smoked lemon garnished the dish. Again, the flavors were exotic and quite delicious. The barberries added a delightful little burst of tartness on the palate. A delightful meal in a beautifully decorated restaurant. Service with quiet, skillful, and informative. A lovely dining experience"
