"Kleiner Rosengarten is a family-run hotel and restaurant in Mannheim serving delicious Italian-Mediterranean fare in a charming and rustic atmosphere. There is an outdoor dining area as well, catering to smokers, and to those who prefer alfresco dining. The restaurant is well-known for their wood-oven...pizzas, but our party of four opted for a 3-course meal. The mixed platter of Italian cold cuts was a delicious start to the evening, whetting our appetite for more. Unfortunately, we had to wait for almost an hour before our main courses were finally served! Our server was oblivious to this delay, and we had to request extra bread a couple of times to keep our hunger at bay. To add insult to injury, the table next to ours ordered way after we did, and yet got their food first! We must admit, the dishes we ordered were well-cooked and bursting with flavour, and this made up for the delay somewhat. Seafood lovers might want to go for the mixed platter of shrimps, langoustines, scallops and mussels in a brandy sauce. The daily specials also include fresh fish served with seasonal ingredients. Despite it being a tasty meal, the service leaves much to be desired. Our server had disappeared after bringing us our dessert (end of shift and none of his colleagues felt obliged to take over servicing our table. It took a while (again) before we got hold of someone to bring us our bill. We might return for another meal someday, and hopefully the service would have improved by then."

"We did it! After at least 10 attacks, for my wife's birthday, we managed to get one of the coveted places. Our expectations were high as the best Rumsteak temple was recommended everywhere. The parking search was a bit adventurous(10 minutes should be planned) but then it was done. We were very warmly welcomed and here you can see that professionals are at work. In order to take up the topic immediately, we are often on the go in the gastro world but such a warm, competent service we have rarely experienced. Bravo! The menu is also very balanced. Not overloaded, perfectly seasonal and from wild, goose, meat, meat to vegetarian dishes, there is something for every taste. It should be noted that all dishes are also offered as a small portion and are provided with a wine recommendation. But the wine card is also excellently selected. As an appetizer, the field salad was recommended with croutons and bacon cubes and was provided with an excellently smacked raspberry dressing. That I didn't get around the Rumsteak was clear, although the Cordon Bleu was also very tempting. My wife enjoyed the Wolfsbarsch with band noodles and saffron sauce and both we were very happy. The Rumsteak perfectly medium rare and the fish juicy and perfectly fried on the skin side. We can only follow all the excellent reviews. For reasons of time, we could not let the evening end with dessert and espresso, but next time. If I should mention something at all, then the recommendation that there are also very good regional beef qualities, as Argentina is quite far. I thank the cooker or the whole team for a nice evening. We were happy and stay with the next reservation at the ball."

"The OPUS V restaurant is established as the best fine dining address in Mannheim. Therefore, it was a must for me, after a memorable first visit shortly after the opening in late to come again with a business friend to this place of gourmet...cuisine. The welcome at the reception was courteous and the attentive and likeable service team was very eager to fulfill all our culinary wishes, in relaxed stylish and well-being atmosphere over the roofs of Mannheim. As Aperitif was a cool and well-mixed Negroni the ideal cocktail to sensibilise the taste buds for the forthcoming flavor experience. We decided to enjoy the eight-course menu together with recommended wine pairing. The nice decorated and savory amuse bouche surprises have been a wonderful taste experience and whet our appetite for more. All served courses were of excellent quality, extremely savory with filigree Asian unami notes. The used ingredients harmonized in a perfect manner and caused an explosion of flavors with best mouthfeel. Among other have been the culinary highlight the Hamchi Japanese amberjack with cabbage turnip, shiso, the Langoustine with caviar, capuchins, the Halibut with parsley root, soja, the Veal with, bulbus plants, mustard, the Brie cheese with truffle, bread. The Butter milk with blood orange, coffee together with the cheese selection of Affineur Waltmann rounded off this fantastic delicacy firework and unfortunately, I had no more space for other sweet desserts. At the first glance, the offered wine pairing selection seemed a bit unusual, but the served elegant vintages correspond in a superb way with the various tasty dishes. The wines were presented by a young sommelier with profound knowledge in an excellent manner and additionally provided with a lot of interesting background information. Particularly preeminent were the finely beaded Cava Brut Nature (Bruant Alta Altella), the Chenin Blanc (Domaine Huet), the Chardonnay Te Ahu (Terravin), the Volnay Cru (Domaine Albert Bichot) and the Bukkaram Sole D’Agosto (Marco de Bartoli). After this opulent meal, an espresso doppio accompanied by an unbelievable velvety, cask aged years old Nonino Grappa was a perfect completion of a memorable meal. To visit OPUS V is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a first-class dinner, extraordinary composed by Chef Tristan Brandt with his kitchen brigade and skillful presented by the inspired service team."

"Some minor criticism: the tabouleh is very heavy on the bulgur and comes with little parsley and seasoning, so it's rather dry. And so is the black bean burger, so I wouldn't recommend the first as a side of the latter. Other than that: great stuff all around! And great staff, too! The people are friendly and enthusiastic and seemed very happy to inform us that every dish is available in vegan, too. And so we had vegan quesadillas, vegan burger and vegan enchiladas. The burger: good, albeit a bit dry. Quesadillas: superb! It's really not special, but superdelicious. The enchiladas: very sauce, very cheese, very nom! The texture of the filling could have been a bit more firm, though. Maybe throw in some chopped up black bean patties? Just a random idea. I also think it's great they are part of the reCircle network, so the takeout containers cost 10 € deposit, are reusable and can be returned at every other reCircle network partner (like Roman's, Mahalo or Glückstein), and their take-out cutlery is made of wood, so you can take your food, walk two minutes to the Jungbuschpromenade and sit next to the water, enjoying animal-friendly food in sustainable dishes. So all in all: the main dishes were only 90% convincing, so that's why it only gets 4 stars from me. Everything else was great and maybe I'll be persuaded to hand out that last star on further visits. I'm definitely looking forward to those."

"My first encounter with the hotel in the grain shop on the edge of the Mannheim harbour landscape was on a cloudy wet day. Such days you want to spend at home in a cuddly bed or on a sofa. And on such days, port landscapes look like grayly foggy props of an Edgar Wallace Crimea from the early sixties. Yes! It's a little stupid. The senses dance pirates. My eyes catch this “Golden Coast Romantic”, my thoughts run along the beach and the counter becomes a surfboard on a wave of breathlessness. Large windows give the view free of a lot of promenade and sea. A me(e)hr from Rhine with a colorful touch Ludwigshafen. In the cereal business, the hotel is charmingly decorated with the bar shop 7 and already filled with the magic of a large colorful world at the first entrance. A world square where time slows down. It is more than just a private place to feel good. The hotel with its spacious bar offers plenty of space for meetings. A terrace on the water invites you to immerse yourself. Memory 7 has a great soul and a loving feeling of life. The view of the multifaceted tapas card offers a lot of Mediterranean lifestyle. Olive paste, humus, algae salad, leek with coconut and chili, cellulose lath with pine nuts and root vegetables, baked Calamari strips, Indian spices or simply almonds with Iberico ham. Also only chips with a hearty Sauvignon Blanc from the winery Winning. Here the contradiction is timeless and fair to the soul and to the wine culture. The view into the wine map shows the best of the Palatinate in traditional connection. Knipser, Kuhn, Hensel, von Winning, Reichsrat von Buhl, Pflüger etc. are masters of their bull. Thorsten Kraft and Jürgen Tekath are the creators of memory and the designers of a fine kind of soul art. Finally, prices are fair. Tapas start at 4 Euros. The wines are all the highest quality at 6 euros and the finest coffee specialities from 3 euros. The view of a lot of Mir(e)hr included."

"A few weeks ago, I had told a clubmate that I would like to upload only good and very good visits to restaurants here at Gastroguide. But it always comes differently than you want... We had reserved weeks before for Mother's Day, the phone call as always friendly and sympathetic with the owners. We'll be happy to prepare a nice table, if you like outside in nice weather. We have reserved the greeting for you outside. However, it was raining and it was quite cold to it still came for the horny reader that there was my beloved Dioni pan juicy neck steak, ragsteak, gros sauce Holland. and frying potatoes there was not. A few more words about the ambience: Generally, it is rustic, conservative with a lot of dark wood combined with a few Mediterranean colors. From almost all places you have a view of the Rhine, the windows are more than generous. On the tables stand fabric napkins, glasses for wine and water. Various dishes were available today, today on the Mother's Day a spooked map. Helpful would have been an info on the reservation. Also the greetings were expected to be outside today. In 90 minutes we expect a large group at their table with the made on the phone We will cover for them a nice table after all, the family celebrated here Golden Wedding with everything about it and not much in common. I chose a Hercules skewer, laughing at me almost nothing. From the amount sufficient for Hercule's son. 4 tiny little pigs meat quality of meat very good, but for 16.90 euros I expect at least 300 400 grams of pork no beef, no calf, no lamb. Preliminary there was a driesty side salad, herbes dressing, herber salad, so the acid in dressing could not save much. The dressing just tipped over it, not really round. Laments did not come from the two ladies at the end of the table, they were satisfied with the main foods, the metaxaspoeee was the mother-in-law, but they also meant for the money to small portions. But not the two ladies write the Rezi but Mannheim`s Permanent Numbero Uno : To the appetizer we ordered as always the grilled pep. to recognize the simple cut white bread They were always excellently comparable with the grilled pep in Old SImpl in downtown. The Peperoni were all right this time. 7.80 Euros were the ones with the simple bread, even if they were very sharply made with oil and garlic, friendly to owners. There was a Tsatsiki plucker and a basket with normal white bread. Nicely grilled and sprinkled with fresh herbs, as we were always used to, this process unfortunately belongs to the past. Some at our table stayed some air away not because of the sharpness but because of the inconvenient white bread when the cut white bread was served wordless. Hefebier Paulaner 0.5 for 4.20 due to the situation directly on the Rhine on the Schindkaut, we knew before that visit regular guests, but for 14 months no longer have been here, but 4.80 euros for a 0.4 he Cola are not comprehensible. When studying the drinks prices, my wife just stayed the air away I was about to get up and go too we did not have the feeling to be welcome during the visit. We were informed several times that 90 minutes later the next guests came, so we now take a bigger break so one, two light years with the dioni. Eating for time pressure is nothing for us there also saved the saying they can leave a little time quietly, we have redisposed now, for the guests at 2 pm we have prepared another table. typ. a.parentNode.insertBefore s,a ; window, document ; script noscript p img src= [hidden link] border=:0; alt= p noscript"
