"This is in a historical building with the most fairy-tale like roof (Marry Poppins, Peter Pan). I'd love to stay in the attic (this is also a hotel, so it's not too off the wall to say that). The inside is really interesting - on the walls looking in, there are beautiful plates on the wall at the top, and rows upon rows of bottles. This is an allusion to the repurposed wine-cellar with the beautiful brick ceiling. If you have to use the powder room, you will see it. This is one time where the powder room is a highlight. But I digress. We were talking about the restaurant interior. Framing the windows are really adorable tiles. The doorway is like a little house pertruding IN the building, and has a cute little roof on it. In the main room, it's all faux brick, but it's really wonderful, and there's a really neat-looking clock centered over some shelves. I really can't remember too much more of that room, because we were positioned in front of the bar, and door to the kitchen, which was also really interesting, because there is a fireplace where they also make their pizzas. REALLY COOL (or hot). The food was really very nice. I had a lovely Ravioli with asparagus and spinach in it. It was really delicious, but my stomach was really full by the time the food came around (we had appetizers to make the wait less torturous), that I wasn't at all disappointed that the portion was rather small. Indeed, I ate 2 1/2 of the last three ravioli on my plate with gluttony, and because I was afraid of it being thrown away if I didn't eat it. This was not an inexpensive restaurant. My son had a really great pizza with carpaccio, gargonzola and rucola, and could only eat half. Luckily for us, they packed it in a pizza carton (nice looking-digressing again), and he only ate a little more, leaving the other half for us! DELICIOUS HEATED UP IN THE MICROWAVE AT HOME. I'm getting that the next time I go, and I will, because it's a special-occasion place, it seems, and I have a friend, whose birthday I would like to celebrate."

"It's Valentine's Day. Many restaurants offer in Mannheim “to go” 3 courses between 59 and 79 euros. I don't have to. During the three months initial lock, I have eaten so much that the buttons of my shirts automatically practice social distancing. Then it fits the penultimate Friday when I meant to my better half “I have a good and bad news for you, what may hear first” she “first the good” “I get the jeans button of my favorite jeans again” “and now the bad?” “I’m sorry I didn’t touch them.” I get abdominal pain not only from the joke, even if I think about the last Valentine's Day 2020. Too expensive and too little to eatable on the plate, there were cheap red cups of champagne, which I would at best consider privately to mofa. Is it good this year? We're staying at home and getting pampered by the Greek delivery service. Again. In the last few weeks we have often ordered a dozen times, we have never been disappointed. So the online menu of Piraeus [here link] through. I'll stick to the grill plates again. “Do I get the portion this time? the last time I was guilty. I ordered the ATHEN TELLER Gyros, Suflaki, Steak, Suzuki, lamb chop and Zaziki with rice salad. Since I'm not a Kotelett fan, I asked for a small lamb steak without bone and what did I get? In addition, a juicy 150 grams lamb steak, I used the Tara function of our scales, it was almost 500 grams of meat on my plate. That was too much for me. So, what's that? I finally decide for the 138 – the Delphi plate, with additional small pig fillet. my better half takes the 105 – the special spear. Usually as an opener always the grilled peperoni – but today is Valentine's Day, we take time before the TV. Make a second bottle of red wine – so we order the mixed appetizer plate – which has premiered with us. Almost 45 minutes later it rings, it is the friendly delivery man. He knows which door, does not walk the 27 floors in the Collini, lazy as he is, he takes the high-speed elevator and is a few seconds later on our floor. “Is the elevator speed? No 3 seconds for 27 floors” the Collini Center was the most modern high-rise house in Europe when it was finished in 1975. We give diligent tips and carry the plastic bags into the apartment. The plates were naturally preheated in the oven, the cutlery was freshly polished. The salads look appetizing in the plastic packaging, just like the appetizer plate, so why don't you want to put the whole thing on our plates? We are looking forward to our main dishes, “the special spear smells good” and looks good. Same procedure as every time, Tara function and the Delphi meat parts on the plate. The scale indicates 420 grams, that should be done. On Valentine's Day, the portions are always smaller. “We still have the delicious Turkish bread” already in the oven my answer. Yeah, that was great for starters. Included grilled bread was found: Zaziki, Dolmadakia, Auberginen, Tirosalata, Gigantes, Zuchini, Olives, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Peperoni and Kalamaris. The Kalamaris freshly grounded and baked. The giants were real giant beans ala Bud Spencer. Excellent the baked eggplants, damn delicious. Uffbasse! Although no Taramas is present in the map, the fish roggen cream was hidden next to the sheep cheese cream. All the creams are tasty. Orange dressing with carrot salad, herb salad with oil and very little acidity. The green salad crunchy, the little ones as always a poem. Excellent my plate delivered with the pork fillet steak upgrade. Greek 4 Fight Today it is not an official four fight – knicken, lochen, abheften and tea bag throw – today it turns out to be a Greek four fight “ Gyros, lamb fillet, pork steak and a pig fillet steak where I could only win. The meat hills, especially the sinful wich crispy Gyros famos seasoned and super juicy. The Lammlaxis Anschnit Lamb after pressing the knife on the fork slightly rose after trimming, better you can do that as a “delivery service food” I do not think. The tomato rice had peas for the first time but was not bad, the variant. Let's go to the Highlignt this day. Let’s come to me to the number 105 of the “super” SPEZIAL SPIESS Our food from the bird’s eye view SCHWEINEFILET GEROLLT – filled with feta cheese and with PAPRIKA ZWIEBELN. There was the desired feta cheese sauce. The spear came pretty dressed and super prepared therefore. Also the incision shows the flesh juicy. More feta, more meat juice doesn't go. Not Vedda – Feta. ! We paid 42 euros, the appetizer board owed, normally we come out with about 35 euros and there's something good we can pull out of this Covid 19 time. We keepers saving the sometimes horrifying beverage prices. In the current time, the 10,000 hours rule – exercise makes the master. Meanwhile, I know the Netflix content backwards and forwards, am an expert in my hands washing and disinfecting. When I get cold, I don't turn the heating on climate targets 2030, no I'm slapping my hands. According to Mrs Merkel, we are supposed to open the windows in winter for at least 15 minutes every hour – by the way, I recommend to our Berlin Bundestag, so that we can finally get a ventilated head and reopen the restaurants. By the way, for this food I like to sneak twice, my better half even three times, because it sat down in my ear for 15 minutes. “Human, the spit is delicious” Conclusion: If Greek in Mannheim – then Piraeus 1!! The first address..."

Lavandou

Lavandou

Lange Rötterstraße 98, 68167, Mannheim, Germany

"What his Lavandou for the Neckarstadtler is his Lavandou II for the Rheinauer. The success story of Mannheim’s French delicacies manufacturer continues in the southwest of Mannheim, right on the Rhine. We can remember the last visit a year ago (Lavandou in the Neckarstadt/Ost . The French looking male service with charm and Basque cap on the head gave the visit a French cosiness, we felt reminiscent of the last France short vacation. Unfortunately, this charm was not left in our visit today. But all the way to... .. we leave Friday night in Espresso 2015 and wonder that the original Lavandou is no longer listed. After visiting the open day at the VW-Haus in Käfertal direction Neckarstadt Ost in the long Rötterstadt and Glück we get directly opposite a parking lot. With Max Joseph street, the street in this district is the most beautiful street in Mannheim. With its parallel streets to the right (Stamnitzstr. and left (Lange Rötterstr., which is considered the main road in the Neckarstadt Ost, this area consists predominantly of beautifully decorated old buildings from the founding period. The Neckarstadt Ost is itself a very good-bourgeois and living area, which also influences the rental level in this district. In addition to the eastern city, the Jungbusch and the Schwetzingerstadt, this is considered one of the urban scene quarters with a more refined character. Many actors and artists are here. Artistic, it's not inside. The walls rust brown, a middle table on the counter with wine recommendations. Large window area make the place quite bright, in summer there are a few small 2 tables on Langen Rötterstraße. All the time it was quite loud in the restaurant, our service missed it all the time with the guests, as well as with us to ask if we still want something. She sat at the table with her friends all the time and screwed the very high volume level even further. The map contains everything you expect from such a bistro. Numerous salads (including melons, bananas, goat cheese and chickens, hearty goddesses, sweet and less sweet crepes and the flag of Lavandou: the Baguettes. Baguettes and salads as small and large part. A little known sculptor sits next to us with his girlfriend. He's talking about work hanging around here. He commands 2x tap water and 2x capucchino while taking a sniker out of his US Army jacket and biting it in. So much for audiences and guests in Mannheim's scene district. Also our 3 ladies at the table with the operation laugh heartily, my girlfriend thinks loudly, it's already here, probably also the missing furniture. A room, a few tables and the counter, that was it. We order a Paulan yeast 0.5 (3.50 and a small Maracuja Schorle. For food it should be a large salad S6 Frejus (9,20 as well as for me the Baguette B12 Monacco 7,50. When our drinks are served, our service was mentally different with blond curls and big glasses, probably with their friends. Because my 0.5 yeast glass was only half filled with little foam. I felt bad when I talked to her, a asking face came: I don't know myself with beer infusions from a look at the wrong ones: the whole yeast and the whole foam still hang in it. Hattily opened her a second bottle and splashed a little further (oh jeses While the cook served us our food, our service sat again with her friends and continued to speak. She did not pay attention to our artist with the Snicker until he finally went to the bar and paid there. We'll see our food. The salad consisted of green head salad, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, ham and peperoni, something made. Made with a very tasty homemade garlic sauce. To this end, Baguette was served in a basket. French delicious my Baguette Monacco . it consisted of delicious white bread covered with cranberries over the whole length, then head salad, camembert and bananas. There was a delicious homemade curry sauce. Sensational, only the taste bananas, Camembert with cranberry and curry did it to me. However, the baguette was not easy to eat, in the end I was beaten to the ears with blocked fingers. But the highlight when paying. With top it cost us all 28 euros, I gave the service 20s, 10s and 3 euros one by one and wanted it 28. She saw us ask, then on the right hand (with the apparitions and then to the left. After a minute, I told her, "We'll get 5 more out," I got it right away. But I have a long day behind me to understand how long she said hello? It's been here since 9:00, you can understand that you can't solve 33 28 even after a minute.... That's probably 12. School Year, High School Gymnasium... Oh, God, how can my guests imagine such difficult tasks... Conclusion: Like his little brother in Neckarau, Bistro in the long Rötterstraße offers French delicacies. Whether Crepe, Galettes or Baguettes, everything is put into the scene in a refined way, it would not be the sleepy, intuitive and mentally absent operation. The larger the glasses, the smaller the plane."
