"First time at Britalia and it was excellent. Lovely atmosphere and smell of yummy food as soon as you enter. The waiting staff were very friendly, chatty and had a great sense of humour which makes a change from Dolly Robotic Daydreams in some places !! Their service was first class, with delicious hot food, great drinks and all washed down with coffee and a complementary shot !! The owner/head chef also interacts with customers which is refreshing to see. Excellent value for money also. A great meal and we shall return."

"Visited recently to celebrate a family birthday. We were a large party and pretty much everyone had a different selection of food so the order was varied to say the least. Although the place was busy, the staff were really polite and attentive offering excellent service. Food is awesome and not overly expensive. We were seated upstairs and the atmosphere was brilliant with other dining parties around our group. Food is incredible and so fresh and tasty; also not overly expensive. Would highly recommend and will definitely return."

"The food was amazing and at a good price, there's quite a lot to choose from on the menu, both me and my boyfriend really liked our meals! The staff were really nice and helpful too, we didn't feel arkward or anything when they came to talk to us like I've felt at other places before in the past either. Also the atmosphere was good too, definitely a restaurant I want to go to more often in the future! "today I visited capo lounge with an old working friend and my 3 yr old son for the first time. I loved it! my son loved it! big little hidden gem in mansfiekd city center. I originally come from london and woukd expect this type of place with its decor, cool vibes, menu choices and brilliant workers in the klostergarten or soho! good that they all work there. nicely welcome to the young girl behind the bar that told us many sitting places above, since down there was quite full. my son could not come across the facility to explore something new. order fresh orange juice, pink limonade, children chicken lutscher eating deal, sweet pot burger and halloumi/falafal salat. I wish I would not eat breakfast! could end my part! my sohn polished his meal no probs and he had never eaten. fresh orange juice became delish. my pink limonade was so fresh and refreshing...Finger crossed her sherbert in the next time, as cant wait to try sherbert limonade. hadn't waited for dinner long. beautiful small area for children to pack a game or colors and the bookcase with books was also a nice note. would be a great place for a family meal or work or even a fun place for a high-time reception. I love it and will come back. only a shame that it does not offer on a groupon offer or a taste card or I would be there weekly! 5 stars safe!"

"Since we have been going to Victoria for curries we wouldn’t go anywhere else. The curries are insane and as my partner and I have different heat tolerance we can both get something that we enjoy! Their Madras heat-level Chicken Tikka Masala is the perfect spice level for me! Delivery is perfectly timed, they find the house with no problem which is a massive thing for where we live (5 stars from me) and the food is always HOT when it arrives. I can’t fault them. Whatever they’re doing in that restaurant I hope they keep doing it!"

"Beautiful food, full of flavour and came fast. Although the food was 10/10, it was the service that topped it off for us. Every single waiter from the second we walked went to so much effort and was so lovely. We weren't left waiting at any point and they were so quick and prompt to serve us didn't catch your names but we ate at 8 9pm 26/8/22 so if you guys are reading this then big up to yous!!!! Best restaurant I've been to Mansfield by far"

"The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting in the heart of Ramson Woods. I came here to remember my father, who passed away here a few years ago and whose ashes are scattered on the grounds - he spent much of his working life keeping the woods clean. After our visit, my mother and I went to Ramson Restaurant and enjoyed a nice cup of hot chocolate to warm ourselves. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although we didn't have time for a meal, we did take a look at the menu and found the prices to be reasonable. We will definitely be coming back."

"This is our fourth visit to this pub and it has become one of our favourite places in Mansfield for breakfast, lunch and dinner with the Basset Hounds in tow. We have had consistently good food here and have been made to feel welcome and comfortable. There is great value food and drink and the breakfast is recommended highly. The team are all really friendly and will do their utmost to make sure you have a good time. Recommended dishes are: the rump steak, the full rack of ribs, the full breakfast, the chicken fajitas and the hunter's chicken.... so far!!"

"1. time and will not be the last one she ordered a take that she told me 19,50pm and it was selected on time to accompany a 2019 chianti our meal. the aromen were amazing for a takeaway can only imagine how good a sitdown menu would be. "I had a great experience at this restaurant with a fantastic menu selection. I had plenty of options to choose from and ended up selecting the garlic mushrooms on gluten-free ciabatta for my starter, which was absolutely delicious. For my main course, I enjoyed a rump steak with chips, which was also very tasty. The only downside was that the only gluten-free dessert option was unavailable, and I was craving some chocolate to finish off my meal. Despite this minor hiccup, I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning in the future."

"The range of beers the brown cow has is brilliant. There is something for every pallet. There is also a great range of spirits. A quiet bar, which lends itself to having a good chat with friends and an overall friendly atmosphere. Bar staff and manager are very friendly and helpful and allowed a little sample beer if you are unsure what to have and if you have the UNTAPPD app, you can see which guest ales they have before going. Definitely recommend this place!"

"Been coming here for many years and never had a complaint. But last visit, the food was awful! The burger was like a slightly warmed leftover. Lifted the top and the cheese was congealed and glued to the burger, a layer of breadcrumbs sticking to it from the stale bun. Fries were always great, with a delicious coating. This time they were unpeeled and full of black imperfections with no coating, inedible!If you aren't making a profit, raise the price, don't lower the quality. Visit was 20th April 22. I won't be back. Thanks for the past."

"was only for our first meal in the gurkha. after reading the reviews I had very high hopes still in the evening I had exceeded that! I've never eaten a curry so nice! the service was impeccable to meet the quality and taste of the food. so much choice of food also for vegetarians. we came to celebrate the birthday of my aunt too late and were betrayed with a cake! absolutely amazing we will return. many thanks to the wonderful young lady who served us and the herrn behind the bar xx."

"absolutely amazing place! wonderful experience from beginning to end. we went as two adult and a child in a wheelchair, no booking. the man on the recipe called tony greeted us so cordially and greeted us in the restaurant, showed us on a table and offered alternatives, should they be better suited with wheelchair access. he moved a table to make the room more comfortable and led us to our waitress. the whole waiting staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, eating was a very high standard. we had pudding, what was amazing! and I found out that they are also dogs friendly! honestly, can not evaluate the place high enough. unsafe!"

"Enjoyed an excellent lunch with family. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and professional. After booking the table I received the 30% off email which made it even better. We intend to visit again soon. Wheelchair accessibility: Taking someone who is a wheelchair user is easy here. The parking is right by the door and everywhere is flat. With the removal of a dining chair there's plenty of room for the wheelchair at the table. Price per person: £10–20"

"Went here for some lunch, not been to Mansfield before walked past Lucy’s and it looked nice so wondered in. Felt a bit empty and dreary but went to sit down the only 4 seater table had a reserved sign on it and the rest were 2 seaters (there was 3 of us). Turned around and the waitress said we can sit there regardless of the reserved sign. Firstly noticed the tables were VERY sticky and another couple in the cafe commented on this as in unappealing. No menus on the table all the food was on some chalk boards on the wall, not a lot of food options at all. As soon as we sat down the waitress awkwardly asked to take our order even though we hadn’t even looked at menus yet. We quickly ordered, was disappointed to find out they offer no alternative milk so my friend with a dairy allergy couldn’t have any hot drinks. Ordered a jacket potato with chilli and cheese, there was barely any cheese on it so I asked for some more politely to which I got told by the waitress the boss has said I need to pay 85p extra for cheese and that they did put some on but it’s just melted so you can’t see it. I challenged her as there was barely any cheese on it to start with, but she didn’t say anything and the whole conversation was very uncomfortable so I just said never mind. After this the waitress went straight into the back clearly to tell the boss what I said and then the boss the waitress and another guy all came and stood behind the bar and basically was side eyeing me throughout the rest of my meal. The whole experience was very uncomfortable and to top it off there were bits floating in my coffee (not very clear pic attached) tried to stir them to get them to dissolve but more jest kept appearing so didn’t finish it. As I was paying I just felt like I was being stared at and judged all for asking for a bit more cheese. Under no circumstances will me or my friends return here again."

"This is the place to eat in Mansfield, a real hidden gem. Freshly cooked, nutritious, very tastey, plentiful food. I've eaten here four times now. Had a different meal each time, they've all been delicious. They have a lovely variety of mains and I really appreciate that the vegetables have flavour and are cooked al-denti. It's a quaint proper pub, just near the bus/train station and the staff are very friendly. I can't fault it and now won't eat anywhere else."

"excellent lunch and beautiful venue. this was the first time I visited mansfield and was recommended to visit il russo. the staff was very helpful as it was our first adventure after covid and we were not sure of the current requirements. when it was a nice warm summer day, we decided to sit on the terrace. it was beautifully designed with tables of all sizes. I recommend the reservation in advance, as it was also very busy for a Monday lunch time. I was disappointed that the pots of the plants were plastic, as the natural fragrance would have added to the ambiente. I guess, however, that plants need dc and leaves can be shed everywhere. in relation to the menu we were completely spoiled for the choice. we decided to use a glass prosecco as starter. it was added to perfection with a skyberry. my friend ordered moules that were served with rustic brot. I chose the smoked haddock risotto. I wasn't disappointed. unusual for us we both disserts. my friend ordered chocolate brownie served with ice cream. I chose cheesecake that was baked in the opposite to a chilled dessert. with fruit-compartment sown. I also ordered a cappuccino when I was so chilled that I thought I would nod. I'm looking forward to our next visit."

"I went with the family for lunch when we arrived the team were very welcoming and friendly. The management met and even exceeded expectations which you dont see in many places now days so it was refreshing to see. When the food arrived the presentation was Incredible as was the taste. Everyone enjoyed there meals which made my experience even better. The desserts were incredible aswell I would also say value for money was absolutely incredible I will be more than happy to recommend this place to anyone and will certainly be returning again. I think the new management team will do well hear and I wish them all the best."
