Popped in yesterday on our way back from Carrick a Rede. Lovely homely atmosphere, great wait staff and a great menu. We only wanted coffee but couldn’t resist two pieces of cake. Very reasonably priced too

After wanting to try here for sometime now I finally got the chance. It did not disappoint, considering we arrived in the peak Saturday morning rush staff were polite, professional and under control, nothing was a hassle. The food was just incredible, fresh, tasty, portions ample and beautifully presented. Flat white was like velvet, latte art was exquisite. Cannot wait for my next return. We happened across this place while looking for shelter from the rain and we’re so glad! It is a wonderful cafe. We ended up going back the next day because we liked it so much. Day 1, we got coffee and snacks-all great. Day 2, we had bfast there and it was wonderful. The inside is warm and toasty and then the covered back part allows dogs and includes a resident cat. The whole place is very nicely decorated, the servers were very nice, and the WCs were very nice. What a great place!

I’ve been here many times, and it’s hit and miss. Sometimes I go and have amazing food and drinks, other times it’s just average food and the drinks are not hot and can taste different. I also find I’m treated differently when I’m in with friends (all adult) vs when I bring my kids in. Don’t think the lady that runs it/owns it always has the best attitude and it can put a dampener on it all. I’d say although it has a board game or two it’s not so child friendly. It would be great if they nailed down the consistency of when they do get it right as it has great potential. Visualizza piatti
