"Very good lunch for two old friends who have been to the odd restaurant around the world. Surroundings were good not cramped, good quality and comfortable. Prepared for and cooled inside given 40 degree heat outside. Staff were easy, efficient, knowledgeable and non intrusive throughout....We ate sweetbread salade and local oysters as starters and a piece of Wagyu beef for two. The starters were good and the beef was exceptional as to be expected. Excellent wine from the local vineyards that are incorporated into the area. Unpretentious and a place to visit regularly if you’re in the area. Cost more than reasonable for the excellence of the restaurant."

"First visit and zero regret! The restaurant is a little hidden by the service station next to it but it is very easy to access once it has been spotted. Fresh pasta dishes are delicious and well garnished in sauce. Cocktails are well done without drowning in ice cubes and desserts are big enough to finish calving us. To finish a small cup of black tea with a good taste of flower or fruit without any bitterness. The service is impeccable smile, advice and kindness are at the rendezvous. Anyway, I recommend it warmly!"

"a sincere cuisine, prepared at the moment (we felt cooking of the gambas just before having them in our plates). The risotto was excellent. the coffee tiramisu: one of the lightest I've ever eaten. professionals who love their trade: they ask if you love what you eat, they simply ask, sincerely. The service is impeccable. the frame is neat, the seats are comfortable. Of course, it is not the frame of a michelin star, but the addition neither. our son and our daughter-in-law, restaurateurs, recommended the due settimo and we thank them for it. "Tale was booked by our children as a gift, only mins walk from Chateau Pape Clément...We decided on the Coté de boeuf os a la moelle....Which freely translates as Prime rib beef on the bone with a length of leg bone cut in...half length ways so as to reach the marrow....The flavour of the meat marrow was to die for ! along with the jou....I had my partners marrowbone as she did not fancy the idea !.....I now know why the French steal all the marrow bones from the dish whenever we are having a large get together.. a stew is on the menu...my only complaint is that the table water was very warm, the staff were very friendly service good, would recommend to anyone. As it was a lovely warm evening we were outside in a lovely shady courtyard...tres-bon !"

"Nice and pleasant experience overall. Booking is not allowed, which may be a bit tedious for larger group of friends, hence you must come around 7PM. "We only decided to try this restaurant as its in the hotel where we were staying. Our experience was that the food was very good however the service was poor. The head waiter (if thats what he was) was cold and unfriendly from the moment...we arrived in the bar. His attitude rubbed off on the others which spoilt the entire evening. What a shame! Oh I forgot to say that the restaurant was also spoilt by the (yes three) massive TV's all showing sport. I don't think its advertised as a Sports Bar That was a first for us in a french restaurant."

"There is not much choice in restaurants near Bordeaux Merignac Airport on a Sunday evening. This chain restaurant is surprisingly good especially when travelling with a toddler grandchild...secure and sound insulated play area visible from our table! The service was friendly and our excellent waitress...spoke very good English. The starters are a bit average but the main course Fish and Chips was faultlessly executed and the Mussels were delicious. The building is a little dated in one sense but when built was clearly to a high standard and is spotlessly clean. If I have another early Monday flight out of Bordeaux requiring an airport stay I will look forward to a return visit."
