"No tengo palabras para describir la experiencia.. Llamé con antelación al restaurante para solicitar una mesa en la terraza con algo de intimidad porque iba a pedirle matrimonio a mi pareja . Ya desde el telefono fueron extremadamente amables y me lo facilitaron todo muchísimo. Al llegar pensamos que no íbamos a poder aparcar.. a nuestra sorpresa tenian servicio de aparcacoches con parking privado! Una vez dentro la cosa solo hacia que mejorar. En primer lugar el servicio EXCELENTE en mayusculas, todo el personal nos trató increíble! La comida, un 10! Los cocktails, los calamares, el tartar de atún, las fideuás, los postres.. Todo lo que pedimos estaba muy bueno, muy elaborado y se notaba que eran productos de calidad! Unas vistas impresionantes, pudimos ver la puesta de sol desde un lugar privilegiado! Cuando llegó el momento les solicité si me podían echar una mano para grabar la pedida y se prestaron a hacerlo, quedó un video muy bonito. Ella dijo que sí!! No miento cuando digo que ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida, no solo por la pedida, es que el trato, la comida y las vistas son inmejorables. Gracias por todo! "No doubt about the best restaurants I've ever been to. And it's not for making them the truth. Since we arrived we were treated very well but very well, they were super attentive to us and our baby. We ate from film, amazing croquettes, the clams more of the same, amazing. The very good coca bread and the best thing is that normally, in the restaurants, you ordered coca bread, bread of vidree, something for the style and put you 4 to 6 boxes. Here in a beer, they put a mountain of bread and very good. What left us most shocked was the meat. "Hace varios años los visitamos y nos sorprendió tanto la calidad del producto que cuando regresamos a la zona regresamos para hacerles una visita. el lugar es renovado y había más personal, pero la calidad del producto y el buen servicio sigue siendo latente. Candi es un artista y está tan seguro de lo que ofrece y cómo ofrece que sale a la habitación para preguntarle a los comensales cómo fue todo. honesto con el producto y con la forma de trabajarlo. pescados y navajas a la parrilla (y otras cosas otros días pero no hay fotos xq o nos acordamos de hacerlos) no lo piensen y luego me lo digan. ahhh y pedir el cromo de jamón que no aparecen en la carta"

"Hemos comido aquí un par de veces. a un minuto de la playa, escondido. el primer día una paella espectacular, abundante en camarones, calamares, mejillones. muy bien equilibrado, ni caldo ni seco. altamente recomendado. Añadimos una ensalada con queso de cabra, muy generoso, no corte. He acompañado con un vaso de vino blanco de la casa, ni seco ni dulce. El tiramisú estaba hecho en casa. Muy bien. atención inmejorable. precio muy razonable, perfecto. El segundo día estaba un poco más lleno. paella sin mejillones, demasiado caliente, bastante unos cuantos camarones pero poco variado. la atención mucho más limitada. No lo recomiendo si vemos a mucha gente."

"We called in here as we were waiting for the wine store to open. What a great find. This is a small café where the locals call into for their morning coffee and we found a table . There is a chalkboard just to the side of the bar that has whats on offer and the owner who is a really friendly guy took our order . They do great little deals like a bocadillo of the day with a delicious coffee for less than 3 euros or large croissant and coffee for just 2 euros. There are other choice like toast/fried eggs and Spanish sausage and everything was freshly made and great quality too. They are also open till late and offer other meals as well as being bar . Place is really clean and has a great bustle to the place. So make sure you pop in and then you could get your wine/beer/sangria from the store on the corner to take home afterwards too."

"We stopped off in Roses on our way to Cadaqués and chose the Iris Bar Restaurant as a place to have a bite to eat, based on TripAdvisor reviews, and were very pleased with our choice. Arriving at around 6.30pm saying we wanted to eat something, we were told by the excellent French waiter that there wouldn 't be food available for an hour, so we ordered water and a bottle of Verdejo, leaving it in an ice bucket on our outdoor table, and observed the passeggiata on the promenade as the sun was going down. When the time came, we were given menus and ordered a portion of goat 's cheese, honey and sesame seed croquetas to share, followed by gambas a la plancha and soupe de poisson. The croquetas were probably the tastiest we 've ever had, the gambas were really succulent and the soup also first-rate. I would highly recommend the Iris Bar, which is named after the flower and not to be confused with the generic Irish Bar that can be found almost everywhere now."

"Es un buen restaurante. Bastante generosos con las tapas. Nos pedimos unos músculos a la marinera para picar y por el precio (12€ habia mucha cantidad, el caldito de los músculos tambien estaba bueno. De plato principal me pedí un lenguado (20€ , bastante grande. Y una escapalopa de pollo con guarnición de patatas fritas, ensalada y huevo frito (12€ . Lo recomiendo."

"Called for a take out here after a long drive to Roses. The lady behind the bar who took our order was really miserable but the pizzas arrived barely 15 minutes later and were absolutely delicious. I had a Quattro formaggi while my husband had the ham and pineapple and both had loads of toppings. The bases of both were really thin and crisp and tasted utterly gorgeous. We might be back tomorrow!! Hopefully we might get a smile of recognition from the surly blonde lady."
